BBFFL#2 2017 Discussion

I will be pm in regarding trades and agreeing in principle by Thursday night as I’m away all next week. How long does the trade period go for?

Am I right in saying that our eligibility for bye rounds is simply based on playing the previous week? So Salem, having now served his suspension is still ineligible for a bye score?

Similarly, if a player got injured during a game in round 10, they’re still eligible if their bye is in round 11?

We changed the criteria a few seasons back to be that the only way you’re eligible for a bye score is by having played the precious week. This means that anyone who gets injured or suspended the week prior to their bye is still eligible.

Although not completely fair it is very clear and easy for everyone to understand.

Draft picks up for grabs for mature solid players. Come one, come all.

I may be out of reception next week as I doing my postie bike charity ride. If I haven’t posted by Thursday, can someone please make some changes to my side as necessary?

Look like teams have locked - will they re-open so we can set them for this week?

They’re open now, I think they’re locked mid-game(?), but should be open until the start of GC vs WC. I think.

Round 10 Summary

51 Bewick has lost his last 6 matches. This is his longest losing streak since he lost the first 9 matches in 2013. He also lost 9 straight from Rounds 10 to 18 in 2012.

Bargey scored his 3rd lowest tally for 2017. His score of 1538 is only higher than the 1519 he scored in Round 3 and his season low of 1452 scored in Round 4. Overall this was his 27th highest or 75th lowest score. His all time low of 1019 came in Round 17 2014.

Despite scoring enough to get the win over 51 Bewick, Birch19 set a new season low. His score of 1171 was his lowest score since scoring 1163 in his 2014 Elimination Final loss to Stoops and was his 10th ever lowest score. His lowest BBFFL#2 of 1081 came in Round 15 2014.

Cafegerat managed to score 1307 in Round 10. This meant he has scored above 1300 for consecutive weeks for the first time this season. This is only the 3rd time as a BBFFL#2 coach he was achieved this feat, with the two previous occasions coming in 2014 – his first year in the competition. That season he had 4 weeks above 1300 from Rounds 8 to 11 – including back to back scores above 1400 in Rounds 10 and 11 (his two highest ever scores) and he also went 1300 plus in Rounds 17 and 18.

After setting a new personal record score in Round 8, Come Back Hirdy’s score in Round 8 fell by 385 points to 1303. This was his 3rd lowest score this season. Overall it was 42nd highest or 65th lowest score. His lower scores this year were in Rounds 1 and 2 when he scored 1270 and 1250 respectively. It was way back in Round 2 2013, that Come Back Hirdy scored his lowest ever score of 967.

Don to Death made it 4 straight wins on the trot in knocking over Come Back Hirdy. This is the first time he has won 4 straight since Rounds 10 to 14 in 2014. His longest ever winning streak of 10 was achieved in Rounds 1 to 10 2013.

Eggs set a new season high in scoring 1571. This was his best score since scoring 1616 in Round 14 2016. Overall this week’s score was his 6th highest. Three of his top 10 ever scores have now come in 2017. His record BBFFL#2 score of 1656 was achieved in Round 13 2014.

Ivan set a new record low BBFFL#2 score. His total of 1137 was lower than his previous worst of 1150 he scored in Round1, his first ever match as a BBFFL#2 coach.

No. 5 scored his second lowest tally for 2017. His only lower score then the 1303 he scored was the 1295 he managed in Round 9. Overall 1303 ranks as his 29th lowest score, or 83rd highest. His lowest all time BBFFL#2 score of 1097 was scored in Round 1 2015.

Redbull scored 1657 which was his 3rd highest score for 2017 and also his 3rd highest overall score. The only higher totals of 1726 and 1677 have come in Rounds 3 and 9 this year.

Saladin almost managed to score 1500 for the first time as a BBFFL#2 coach. However, his score of 1494 still managed to raise the bar as his highest BBFFL#2 total. His previous best of 1490 was achieved in Round 5 2017.

Silly Billy broke his duck for 2017 with victory over No. 5. This was his first win since Round 17 2016, thus ending his longest losing streak at 11. His score of 1399 was his second highest for 2017 only behind the 1543 he scored in Round 9. Overall his highest score remains at 1561 scored in Round 3 2013.

Smooth only just managed to break through 1500 in Round 10 as he scored 1501 – his 3rd lowest tally this season. The only lower totals have been 1475 in Round 2 and 1474 in Round 7. Overall this score was his 41st highest or 78th lowest total.

Stoops scored a new season high in defeat against Redbull. His total of 1454 was his best score since scoring his 3rd highest BBFFL#2 score of 1588 in Round 10 2016. Overall his Round 10 score was his 37th highest score. His alltime high of 1683 was scored in Round 16 2015. Sitting 3 games outside the Top 8 and point for, Stoops is in danger of missing the BBFFL#2 finals for the first time after making them for the first 5 years of our competition. If he can’t reverse his fortunes over the last 9 matches of 2017 it will mean Smooth is the only coach to have played finals in every BBFFL#2 season – assuming his form doesn’t fall off the perch.

The Melkman managed his 2nd best score for 2017 in Round 10. His score of 1391 is only behind his Round 7 score of 1400 and ranks 71st highest of his totals. The Melkman’s PB of 1648 came way back in Round 8 2012.

TrevorBix scored his 3rd highest score for 2017 by scoring 1426. This was his 15th highest score. His only higher scores this year have been the 1439 he scored in Round 4 and his highest ever BBFFL#2 score of 1536 scored in Round 2.

Wezza suffered his 3rd loss in a row in going down to Eggs in Round 10. This was the first time since Round 11 to Round 13 2014 that he has lost 3 straight. It also is the 4th time as a BBFFL#2 coach that he has lost three on the trot, which is his record losing streak. He also achieved this in Round 8 to Round 10 2013 and Round 7 to Round 9 2014.

Westozziebomber’s season has gone from bad to worse as he has hit rock bottom in two ways. His Round 10 score of 1067 is a new low score for our only two-time premiership coach, going lower than his previous worst of 1075 in Round 4 2015. The loss also put WOB down into last place on the ladder.

You make it sound like it was the lowest score of all time. I’m getting pretty tired of these weekly trolls from you :stuck_out_tongue:
