Beams injured in first minute. Killer blow when taking on a top 2 side, and might actually kill off finals chances if he’s broken the collar bone, as looks inevitable.

Im actually putting up pretty good competition, for Smooth, notwithstanding the Beams disaster.
Steele played in the Vfl today so wont be a late in. Which means Patton comes off the bench. Fortunately, The General has gone nuts (in a FF sense) against Brisbane.
Ward has also had a decent outing, negating Shiels score for Smooth.
Ablett out has helped but SPP pulled 90-odd off the bench for Smoothy.
And for Nick Robertson as well!
He’s actually been pretty solid for about a month. Playing a bit higher up the ground and using his run more rather than constantly getting turnaround by small forwards with a better turning circle

Im in this more than i thought! With bench players accounted for, its currently:

Luckily for me, Shaw had a shocker which has minimised the Beams damage.
Smoothy has by far the better potential still to play though, including some gun mids. I need a Jake Stringer masterclass. He hasnt hosted one for about two years, lol.
