I’ve always preferred this album to Born in the USA.
The cover sets up the expectation of a more mature, introspective Springsteen, removed from the bombast of the predecessor. A man trying to get back to a simpler time.

I thought about this one @bltn - the cover works really well with the inner sleeve and the empty back cover. The closeup has the legendary ghost upstairs.
