For me, the album as a whole is dreadful - the precise moment they lost me (and have never quite got me back). And I say that as someone who greatly liked the their first two albums…
If you listen very closely to that song, you can hear both Fonzie, and the shark in the background.

Just a broad question, but what makes a better cover: something that conforms to genre tropes so you know what to expect, or just a really cool picture?
I’m gonna say strength of concept.
It can be busy, like Sgt Peppers, but the actual concept is simple.
So…a simple idea, even if the execution is detailed.
