I are deeply saddened by the passing of Bigallan.
My condolences to her family during this difficult time.
I knew her as a remarkable woman who had distinguished career in public service. One marked by her sharpness of mind and curiosity about the world - which never waned. I enjoyed her engagement in the various politics/general world threads; she wasn’t just a spectator, but a thoughtful contributor who offered insight, clarity, and context.
Beyond global events, her generosity of her spirit was valued in the mental health thread, where her empathy and encouragement made a quiet but profound difference.
She was a passionate supporter of the club. While celebrating the history of the club, she also worked valiantly to right the wrongs of the saga.
She will be deeply missed and long remembered by her loved ones - and from those of us who very much enjoyed her contributions to this forum.

Damn that’s sh*thouse. Bigallan was a really good contributor and dropped a lot of knowledge.
I queried something history related she posted in a thread once and she answered, and then PM’D me with more personal and in depth info.
She will be missed.

Very sorry to hear that sad news. I had no idea she was going through breast cancer. I always enjoyed and appreciated the knowledge she shared in her posts. Bomberblitz will not be the same without her. Sincere condolences to her family and also to her friends on this forum. My thoughts go out to you all.

Like others l will mis bigallan. I found her to be one of the most knowledgeable posters on all of Blitz. When she posted l read her words and weighed them carefully. This is sad news indeed. Commiserations to her family and loved ones, she will be missed, there as well as here. Respect In Peace.

Never met her but BigAllen was a Bomberblitz stalwart. Her knowledge and contributions on a range of local and worldwide political issues were always a great read.
