Iā€™m truly saddened to hear this - itā€™s a genuine shock. She was one of the posters here who felt like ā€œmuch more than an accountā€.

When international relations and trade issues are in the news, I often wonder about bigallanā€™s experience and thoughts. I wanted to know her whole life and career story, but was satisfied with her peerless contributions to the politics threads, and everything saga-related.

@Heffsgirl 's post above is fantastic.

Very sad news, indeed.

She brought a love of the club to this forum, and brought a voice of experience and knowledge in a field of endeavour that few of us will ever know.

I extend my condolences to her family, her friends and all those who knew her, whether it be in life or on here.

Iā€™m absolutely devastated to learn this. I feel like Iā€™ve lost a friend and mentor.

I PMā€™d her a few years ago asking for career advice, and she was kind enough not just to answer but to keep checking in on me. She was a remarkable woman who was a committed supporter of the EFC, a strong mental health advocate and had made some incredible professional accomplishments.

Talking to her privately about several topics over the years was both insightful and very good for my mental health. She was private, but I sincerely wish I had known her better.

Such sad news to hear of Bigallanā€™s passing.

I found her to be probably the most respectful poster on this forum and extremely knowledgeable on most topics. Place wonā€™t be the same without her contributions.

This is terrible news. I had no idea she was sick.

She was just so full of information and incredibly articulate.
We often spoke in DMs about topics away from public scrutiny. She was kind and full of advice.

A real gem and will be missed. Condolences to those who knew her in the real world.

Found her posts to be measured, insightful and knowledgeable.

Didnā€™t know her personally, but you got a feeling of who she was from her contributions in different threads.

I had no idea Bigallan was a she until just now. Iā€™ve just reread our last DM thread and itā€™s obvious.

She was so caring. She wrote.

Donā€™t succumb to #### baiting. Not worth it, he never contributes, just malicious. Take care of yourself.

Wow Iā€™m a bit taken a aback by this news.
