The last version of the archive had about 60k posts, this one has close to 300k posts. FWIW this new forum has had 100k posts since we started.
Awesome stuff Rolo, thanks for all of that.
Regarding your last comment, do you think we need a life?
No idea, Andy had to keep culling the old board because of the old host. I really should try and get in contact to see if he ever kept local copies, because now we have the room.
I have my own reasons for NEVER wanting to see what I posted back in 2002 ... but the curiosity is compelling.
Fun fact, there are more users (75) browsing an old backup of an old version of an Essendon fan forum than there are North Melbourne and Melbourne Football Club fans in Australia.

Pretty sure Andy has everything on hard drives somewhere. I contacted him to ask the possibility of digging out an old travel story I wrote about five years ago. He reckoned he would have it, but too difficult to find until someone is happy to fund a server for all the old stuff.
l saw that the other day via Google. At first l thought it was a mistake, but l am very glad that the old Best Post thread is in there, even though we lost a little of it at the end. Great work and many thanks to all those concerned for making this happen.
It looks like the Father Son thread has a lot of the old information. HM’s work isn’t entirely lost. (or had this already been found/saved over the summer?)
