Not exactly a new band but I finally picked up an Avantasia album (got a special edition containing Metal Opera I and II) after first seeing them back in either 2010 or 2011 at Wacken.
Gonna throw it out there and say as far as power metal goes these albums are a lot stronger than some of their more well known contemporaries

Sometime in the past few months Google music has lost every album from soilwork between 2001 and 2007
