Blitz Probe Cycling

Any of you guys use aero bars at all? I installed some last night and went for a little ride down the street at 10pm felt a little scary, a lot more aero. was planning on going for a ride this morning but son was up at 2.30am -3.30am so gave up on that.

Just don’t turn up to bunch rides with them on like some jokers

so we added at proform tour de france trainer bike to the lounge room - complete with google maps.

amazing

I have a power meter on the way.

I’m a little excited.

What sort?
Info crank.

Don’t know that one. List price seems to be on the high side?

Second hand on BM. It cost as much as a Pioneer would, which is what I was saving for anyway. Was going to ‘go cheap’ and get Stages but 800-1000 is still a lot of money for something there’s not a lot of great reviews about. Plus I wanted left/right power.

Seems to have a decent review on DC Rainmaker. Good stuff.

I wish I could be as cool as Rapha. Make a blue jersey and act like it’s the second coming…

I do quite like the new Lumiere jersey that CT are offering. But my god the price for a simple jersey …

Yeah it’s out of hand all this designer cycling stuff. But then while I was in Melb I saw it everywhere – people down there have too much money!

Tell me about it.

I have a Raleigh retro kit knicks & jersey.
Sky official jersey 1/4 zip & orica green edge jersey full zip.
Blitz Jersey first edition - use on sunny days
cheap Craft knicks & red craft jersey
knockoff garmin kit knicks jersey & sleeveless jersey. they were good for one season but are pretty average now and only get used when im at the bottom of the drawer.
also have a black Nalini jersey, which I rarely use as its not very visible on the road, unless im on my yellow road bike.

unless your riding everyday once you have a few sets you really only need to add 1 good jersey/knicks a year. I wouldn’t get the cheap knock off stuff again. but would just wait until stuff I like is on sale. wouldn’t mind adding a yellow gillet.

Well I ride a minimum of 6 days out of 7.
Weekdays I use any of the large number of ATB jerseys I’ve got from riding it last 7 years.
Weekends, I tend to alternate retro jerseys (eg Team Z / Peugeot), more obscure team kits and bomberblitz jerseys.

Saw a guy this morning with a fluro gillet and no lights …

Also got a beep from a car, to which I gave the standard response (a friendly wave) and got the finger in return. Love motorists.

@Riolio
Watch out!
Seems there’s a blitz on bells on bicycles!

“tackling the real safety issues in cycling”

Was just reading that, saw some complaining on FB last night too. Brissie police seem especially hard on that rule. Keeping everyone safe!

Is the assumption that all cyclists are mute?

If I had the choice of signalling a nice dainty little “ding-ding” and me shouting “FKN MOVE!” I know which I would go with.

I know which is louder.

I ride 4km to work but have to yell at someone in that 10 minutes at least three times a week.
