Blues manage to beat the Pies
Freo manage to beat the Cats at GMHBA
GWS manage to beat the Doggies in Ballarat
Suns manage to beat the Lions

Same ■■■■■■■ ■■■■ from our lot. Some really inspiring efforts but FFS some of our players just were not up to it.

Snelling as the sub was ■■■■■■■ ludicrous too.

Could have rolled over and capitulated… but didn’t.

Besides the other McCartin, they were full strength. We were a long way off considering our injury list.

Do we really want to sneak into 8th again and roll over in Week One against a likely superior opponent? I would only like to make it if we were a genuine show of winning a final and that doesn’t appear likely this year.

Hurts now but for the best. Win the next two and get to 11 wins and then turn the focus on 2024. I reckon the selected team is going to look very different against WCE next week.

Still unsure why Davey subbed off for Snelling.

Davey was starting to get a feel for it.

One or two more clean possession from us could’ve won us the game.

Peter is good but he’s not three vs one good. If three are on Peter we have to find the spare player.

Run and carry much better this week out of back line. This meant we weren’t shut down like last week.
