Can someone sort this for me?
How did Mark Thompson get his nickname? I thought he was called “Bomba” after Bomba the Jungle Boy, because when he started at Windy Hill he WADA dead ringer for the kid in the movies and TV show.
Now everyone calls him Bomber Thompson.

It started as Bomba, which was a family nick name as far as I know, and morphed into Bomber, which is what everyone uses, except the 'look at me, I know something and I'm cool' set, who still use Bomba. Everyone form Hird to Ling use Bomber.

apparently it was due to an infatuation with a kids book bomba the jungle boy.
has become bomber over the years naturally.
