Bombers fail to win their second local eSports premiership - you’re cut

Patches are made every couple of weeks which often shakes up the pick and ban priorities

What changed with shen??

Never seen it picked as support in pro.

Used to be a jungle/top but don’t recall seeing it there lately either.

Surely yuumi would’ve made some sense based on some selections?

BMR vs ORD. GAUNTLET. Elimination Final. Best of 5.

Friday (2019/08/23)
BMR 1 - 3 ORD.
BMRs lose.

Game 1. BMR 10 - 11 ORD.
BMRs lose.

Character Selection.

Bombers:

  • (TOP) BMR-Mimic on Aatrox (demon angel swordsman)
  • (JUNGLE) BMR-Wilder on Lee Sin (blind martial arts monk)
  • (MID) BMR-ry0ma on Syndra (witch with magic death balls)
  • (ADC) BMR-Looch on Sona (magic music keyboard healer)
  • (SUPPORT) BMR-Rogue on Tahm Kench (giant demon frog)

Wilder chose the Lee Sin, which he has played only once in season (21 games)(100% win rate).
Looch chose Sona (2 appearances in season. 50% WR)
Ry0ma chose Syndra (0 appearances in season). This is an old favourite of his from previous years, but it was changed to be weakened so pro-players ignored it for a while. Just before finals, it was made stronger which is why ry0ma chose it here.
Mimic chose Aatrox (7 for 71% WR)
Rogue chose Tahm Kench (3 for 67% WR)

I want to point out that Looch’s character is not a normal ADC as it’s top-end damage is too low. It offers stuns and healing, but essentially we’re going into the match without a full-forward and with 2 centre-half backs.

Order:

  • (TOP) ORD-Tally on Renekton (walking crocodile god)
  • (JGL) ORD-Spookz on Jarvan IV (walking lance knight)
  • (MID) ORD-Swiffer on Zoe (magic pixie fairy girl)
  • (ADC) ORD-Dream on Jinx (suicide squad girl with a minigun)
  • (SUP) ORD-Jayke on Braum (dude with a really giant shield)

Game:

  • Pre-match interview, our coach states that he has chosen a team in game 1 with slow characters with a lot of healing and shielding to drag the game out. Hopefully, the longer game 1 goes, the BMRs players nerves will calm down and we’ll get into the groove of playing. (Meanwhile ORD had already played 4 games Thursday, so they’re well into the groove ahead of us.)
  • Normal games go 30-35 mins. This one goes to 40mins so it was a slow long game.
  • BMR-Mimic gets bullied early and finishes with (1/4/1). (Kills/Deaths/Assists)
  • BMR-ry0ma picks up the slack scoring (6/2/4).
  • BMR-Looch totally non-threatening on his healer scoring (1/1/5).
  • It looks like game-plan for game 1 takes ORD totally by surprise as they can’t make a dent in our shield/heal heavy team formation. Game-plan: Stay together for the healing and wait for ry0ma to throw the death balls at them.

Turning point:

  • We get out to a huge 8k gold lead at 28 mins (AFL: about 30 points up at 3/4 time)
  • We push them back and back and the only thing they can do is defend their base.
  • HUGE mistake at 29 minutes. ORD are standing 5 together with 1 in the middle, 1 to the North, 1 East, 1 South, 1 West. Wilder JUMPs STRAIGHT onto the middle one. They all turn around and Wilder is dead dead meat. We have 3 nearby (ry0ma, Looch, Rogue) and they try to save Wilder, but all they achieve is to get themselves in trouble. Mimic approaches from the East-NE trying to save the day, but they dodge all of his sword-swings and dogpile him. It is our entire team wiped out for 0.
  • Over the next 10 minutes, the game completely flips.
  • At 36mins, ry0ma is caught while trying to be sneaky in the enemy’s backside and is killed.
  • At 37mins, Mimic and Wilder are hunted down by the ORD 5-man sweep.
  • With only Rogue and Looch left alive (2 healers), we are no chance to stop ORD’s 5-man team from crushing the remaining base.

Miscommunication or rush of blood from Wilder there. The game was well in our control.
He went forward when none of his teammates expected him to.

Stats:
(Player)-(Kills/Deaths/Assists)-(Total Damage Dealt to Champions)

  • BMR-Mimic (1/4/1) 11.9k VS 13.9k (3/3/4) ORD-Tally
  • BMR-Wilder (2/3/8) 11.7k VS 5.6k (1/3/8) ORD-Spookz
  • BMR-ry0ma (6/2/4) 29.2k VS 27.7k (4/1/4) ORD-Swiffer
  • BMR-Looch (1/1/5) 12.9k VS 20.9k (3/1/5) ORD-Dream
  • BMR-Rogue (0/1/5) 3.1k VS 6.8k (0/2/6) ORD-Jayke

I’ve chosen (Total Damage Dealt to Champions) as a key statistic to measure.

  • You can see that ry0ma carried our team in this game.
  • In a normal game, the MID and ADC are supposed to top-damage.
  • On the ORD-side, both Swiffer(MID) and Dream (ADC) dealth a lot of damage.
  • Looch relatively low damage because he is using a Sona. He did heal 18.5k damage so he was at least doing that part of it.
  • We went with low damage, high endurance and it almost worked.
  • I.E. We went with a small forward line, tried to run them off their legs. our only likely-looking goalscorer (ry0ma) got taken out of the game, they took a few contested marks inside 50 late to goal and snatched the game.

So we go down 1-0 to start.
A game we had no right to lose, and they had no right to win.

I was actually not too upset at this point.
From the coaches interview and his game plan explanation, I got the impression that he almost did not expect this plan to work. This was possibly a throwaway game just to get our players calmed down.
That we almost won anyway would have been a bonus.

Game 2. ORD 15 - 23 BMR.
BMRs win.

Character Selection.

Bombers:

  • (TOP) BMR-Mimic on Aatrox
  • (JGL) BMR-Wilder on Jarvan IV (3 in season for 67% WR)
  • (MID) BMR-ry0ma on Lissandra (ice witch) (1 for 100% WR)
  • (ADC) BMR-Looch on Syndra
  • (SUP) BMR-Rogue on Alistar (purple minotaur) (0 appearances)

We picked Syndra again, so it looked like Ry0ma was going to have a repeat game, but we surprise picked at the end with another ry0ma favorite Lissandra. He has only played it once this season, but he was 8 for 100% with it last season.
Rogue also going back to an old favorite from last season (10 for 80% WR).

Order:

  • (TOP) ORD-Tally on Neeko (chameleon girl)
  • (JGL) ORD-Spookz on Malphite (earth elemental walking rock man)
  • (MID) ORD-Swiffer on Qiyana (amazon with a circle blade)
  • (ADC) ORD-Dream on Tristana (midget with a huge long-range cannon)
  • (SUP) ORD-Jayke on Braum (dude with a really giant shield)

The Malphite was a questionable choice as the general opinion is that it’s weak. The Qiyana should be a threat.

Game:

  • We swap to red-side for this game. We take the strong Jarvan IV character.
  • ORD roll the dice with some unconventional character picks.
  • We take all the dragons keeping the pressure heavily on ORD.
  • Mimic had a poor game 1, but he gets really into game 2 putting his face into every fight. In a way that is quite funny, he somehow gets the lion’s share of the killing-blows finishing with 13 kills, which is an obscene number. It like every time he turned up, he was killing people.
  • We keep the gold lead on them throughout the game and they get desperate and start to take a few bad gambles.

Turning point:

  • At 28 mins, with both teams jockeying for position, ORD attempt to set a surprise attack. In broad daylight.
  • They don’t know, but we see exactly where they are, so we ambush the ambush trading 3 kills for 0.
  • This immediately gets us baron buff for a big gold and base push.

Stats:
(Player)-(Kills/Deaths/Assists)-(Total Damage Dealt to Champions)

  • BMR-Mimic (13/2/3) 22.5k VS 24.7k (3/2/7) ORD-Tally
  • BMR-Wilder (2/4/19) 8.4k VS 15.3k (0/7/8) ORD-Spookz
  • BMR-ry0ma (4/1/11) 20.9k VS 21.0k (8/6/4) ORD-Swiffer
  • BMR-Looch (3/6/5) 13.0k VS 21.2k (3/1/3) ORD-Dream
  • BMR-Rogue (1/2/15) 6.6k VS 8.9k (1/7/8) ORD-Jayke

Stat analysis

  • Mimic had a monster game almost outscoring all of ORD by himself.
  • Wilder has 21 of 23 (91%) kill participation which is also an insane game from him.
  • The enemy Malphite turned out to be a total liability going 7 deaths for 0 kills.
  • The enemy Qiyana tried hard (8 kills) but we sacked her good too (6 deaths).
  • Rogue had a fun day on the Alistar. Only 2 deaths (low for a support) and 16 kill participation.

We square it up at 1-1 and we look to have the momentum.

Game 3. BMR 20 - 25 ORD.
BMRs lose.

Bombers:

  • (TOP) BMR-Mimic on Aatrox
  • (JGL) BMR-Wilder on Sejuani (bear riding ice knight) (0 appearances in season)
  • (MID) BMR-ry0ma on Renekton (1 for 100% WR)
  • (ADC) BMR-Looch on Syndra
  • (SUP) BMR-Rogue on Thresh (ghost with a hook lantern) (3 for 67% WR)

Mimic on Aatrox for the 3rd game in a row. (He really likes the Aatrox).
Wilder pulls a surprise picking Sejuani for the first time this season. This is commonly a strong pick, but I would not want to be trying something for the first time in an elimination final. (Hello, Malphite.)

Order:

  • (TOP) ORD-Tally on Viktor (techno laser mage)
  • (JGL) ORD-Spookz on Jarvan IV
  • (MID) ORD-Swiffer on Qiyana (amazon with a circle blade)
  • (ADC) ORD-Dream on Kog’Maw (mutant acid spitting dog monster)
  • (SUP) ORD-Jayke on Morgana (devil demon witch)

The Kog’Maw is a crazy pick like the Malphite was last game.

Game:

  • ORD are back on red-side for this game. And take the strong Jarvan IV character.
  • The Kog’Maw is a crazy pick as it’s not on the list of ‘currently strong characters’. It turned out extremely well for them as the combination with Morgana was very powerful. We spent a lot of the time in game trying to kill the mutant dog, but Morgana was protecting him too effectively.
  • Sejuani is considered one of the strongest characters in the role of JUNGLE in 2019. She is very durable and her power move is to throw a giant ice ball at the enemy which explodes on impact freezing all enemies in the area. But I’ve never seen Wilder use it before. It turned out very badly as he missed the majority of his ice ball throws.
  • Our normal team formation has Wilder and Rogue ‘catching’ the enemy players and the other 3 following up for damage. It was very hard with Wilder missing.
  • The Morgana has a shield that blocks Rogue when he tries to catch the dog. It turned out to be key as we really could not catch the ORD members when we wanted to.

Turning point:

  • At 27 mins, and the game even, we squeeze 2 kills onto ORD. With a 5-3 player advantage we move to take the baron objective.
  • We completely mess this one up. The Baron is a very big neutral snake monster who takes a while to kill and deals significant damage. The team that kills him gets a big prize in return.
  • We focus too much on the Baron and ORD chooses to interrupt the fight 4 players versus 5 (with 1 of their players having respawned). We are too distracted by baron and ORD blast away at us.
  • Even though we claim baron, ORD blast away at us continuously and we are ALL killed after the baron fight.
  • This tactic is known as “Throw at Baron” for when teams manage to mess up so badly at Baron that they have thrown the game away…

Key moment:

  • At 35 mins, with ORD heavily pressing into our base, we launch an all-out counterattack aiming for the mutant dog. We get him, but expend too much effort in doing so. It is all of BMRs dead for 3 of ORD.
  • With 2 members still standing, ORD demolish our base for the win.

Stats:
(Player)-(Kills/Deaths/Assists)-(Total Damage Dealt to Champions)

  • BMR-Mimic (5/5/9) 19.2k VS 30.3k (5/3/10) ORD-Tally
  • BMR-Wilder (2/8/13) 11.9k VS 11.6k (5/5/16) ORD-Spookz
  • BMR-ry0ma (9/2/4) 14.5k VS 21.1k (6/4/10) ORD-Swiffer
  • BMR-Looch (4/5/9) 21.7k VS 36.4k (7/4/11) ORD-Dream
  • BMR-Rogue (0/5/15) 6.6k VS 9.9k (2/4/20) ORD-Jayke

Stat analysis

  • We were very afraid of the mutant dog. Time and again we tried to kill him. But he knew we were trying to kill him, so that played into their hands.
  • The mutant dog is a character that is weak to begin but gets much stronger as the game time progresses. And we were right to be afraid of him, 36k is whopping amount of damage to output.
  • We ended up being distracted by the mutant dog for the whole game (and still did not manage to stop him). But then we did not see that ORD-Tally was also getting extremely strong and pumping damage into us at 30k. Did not notice him at all, until he killed everyone.
  • You can see from the damage that they blasted us out of this game.
  • Ry0ma tried hard with 9 kills, but it was a lone hand.

We go down 1-2 and it’s match point.

I’m freaking out now.
And looks like our team was freaking out too, as game 4 was a bloodbath.

Game 4. BMR 8 - 20 ORD.
BMRs lose.
And are eliminated.

As the stats would have it. Red-side has now won all 3 of 3 games.
And red-side has also had Jarvan IV all 3 times.
So is the lucky factor red-side? or Jarvan IV?
ORD get to picks side for the match and they pick red-side.

Bombers:

  • (TOP) BMR-Mimic on Akali (green ninja girl)
  • (JGL) BMR-Wilder on Jarvan IV
  • (MID) BMR-ry0ma on Irelia (6 flying knives girl) (2 for 100% WR)
  • (ADC) BMR-Looch on Karma (0 appearances)
  • (SUP) BMR-Rogue on Shena (bulky blocking ninja) (0 appearances)

Wilder takes the strong Jarvan IV pick. Will it be lucky?
Looch and Rogue pulling out brand new picks. HUGE GAMBLES.

Once again, Looch has picked a character that is not a real ADC and is half a healer.
I really hate this game plan, bc ORD do have a real ADC and he does his job which is to blast us to pieces. Actually, virtually all teams you will meet will have a real ADC who blasts the enemy team to pieces.

Order:

  • (TOP) ORD-Tally on Sion (giant death zombie)
  • (JGL) ORD-Spookz on Karthus (death god reaper)
  • (MID) ORD-Swiffer on Twisted Fate (man who throws exploding playing cards)
  • (ADC) ORD-Dream on Sivir (amazon with a boomerang blade)
  • (SUP) ORD-Jayke on Morgana

ORD play a lot of different characters.
We should be really scared of the Karthus as he was very deadly in the Thursday games. In fact, we had been banning Karthus from Game 1-3. But we chose to ban Qiyana this time as it did damage in games 2 and 3.

Game:

  • Can’t win really, Karthus or Qiyana, or our other bans of Gangplank and Xayah/Rakan. ORD always have something to pull out of the bag that hurts us a lot.
  • It seems like we spent the whole season spending too much time worrying about what ORD were going to do instead of coming with our best game.
  • The coach of ORD was interviewed and stated that he was confident against BMR, because he knew exactly what kind of game style we would play.
  • We were right to be afraid of the Karthus. Karthus has a special power move that deals undodgeable damage on all 5 members of the enemy team at unlimited range. This means that none of our players should let themselves get under say 20% health, because Karthus will follow with the instant-kill snipe from anywhere on the map. Versing a Karthus requires that our entire team change the way they play.
  • We didn’t change at all, and Karthus got boodles of free kills off us.
  • This creates a snowball effect. When Karthus gets more kills, he will buy damage items so that his power move hurts even more. 20%, 30%, 50% of all the BMR hp bars.

Key moment:

  • At 23mins, ORD 5-man team pushes into our area and Wilder goes for the big attack again.
  • We kill 2 but we lose 5 members. Disastrous fight.
  • The time we spend off the map lets ORD build an even bigger lead on us.

The game was already slipping away from us here, but I feel Wilder was getting desperate in game 3 and 4. He kept jumping in to attack without the rest of the team. Trying to force the issue.
Many times, it looked just plain suicidal. This was one of those moments.

Stats:
(Player)-(Kills/Deaths/Assists)-(Total Damage Dealt to Champions)

  • BMR-Mimic (1/4/1) 11.0k VS 9.3k (3/2/6) ORD-Tally
  • BMR-Wilder (1/5/3) 5.8k VS 21.6k (5/3/12) ORD-Spookz
  • BMR-ry0ma (3/3/2) 10.7k VS 13.5k (4/3/5) ORD-Swiffer
  • BMR-Looch (1/5/2) 17.5k VS 21.3k (7/2/8) ORD-Dream
  • BMR-Rogue (2/3/5) 3.1k VS 9.7k (1/0/15) ORD-Jayke

Stat analysis

  • There was no way to stop the Karthus after he got his first few kills. And the enemy JUNGLER ended up topping the damage chart. (Very rare for a JUNGLE role to do this.)
  • We were not ready for this game. (Did not know what to do to stop the Karthus)
  • Once again, when you look at the damage (disposals) across both teams, we got blasted off the park.
  • While Rogue (2/3) and Looch (1/5. 17k dmg) look OK compared to our team, they are (3/8) combined versus (8/2) against their counterparts. We really lost all over the park.
  • Crazy pick of Karma and Shen didn’t really do anything good.

PS (edit). Karthus managed to die to neutral minions (wolves in the forest). This is extremely embarrassing for any player, let alone a pro-player whose game is being broadcast live to thousands of viewers.
He still tore us to pieces over the rest of the game.

We go down 1-3 and it’s all over.

We don’t get a ticket to Worlds this year.
The players themselves say they have improved, but for me, it’s really hard to measure such differences (because I’m really bad at the game myself so I don’t know what’s going on)

Seasons only go about 4 months, and we’ve had so much personnel change. It’s hard to measure things. We’ve also had coach changes, so who knows what our game plan or the practices look like.

I’m expecting roster changes, but I also expect all Oceanic teams to turnover a few members. So who knows who we’ll get.
(Btw, our VFL team seems to be not impressive at all either. Nothing coming up there.)

I’d say BMRs are still learning how to be a LoL organisation. Not sure we’ve got the same depth of ‘development program’ that gets lauded at long-time established teams likes Chiefs and Dire Wolves.
These teams identify young talent, bring them in and grow them up. And then they perform.
We havn’t got that yet.

Great analysis mate, watched them all and very disappointing. They seem to choose less team fight champs and more solo champs.
I think they were put coached heavily

Just to rub our noses in it… Mammoth defeat Order 3-0.

I’m actually happy with this.

ORD knocked us out on the Friday.

MMM knocked ORD out on the Saturday.
Scores.
Game 1. MMM 18 - 7 ORD
Game 2. ORD 3 - 18 MMM
Game 3. ORD 11 - 28 MMM
A fair old thumping.

The final 2 remain: CHF (1st seed) versus MMM (2nd seed).
One of these will be the Oceanic representative team for the LoL World Championships.

We want to sent a good representative to show the quality of Oceanic to the world.
I much prefer to see CHF/MMM at Worlds instead of ORD.

I hope MMM gets through. They’ve shown more X-factor this year.
They also have a 17yo superstar rookie (Fudge), who has been waiting for years to step up to the pros, but the age limit is 17! Think your Daniel Arzani types.

The OPL broadcast also announced the season awards.

Raydere Medal (MVP award) went to CHF-Raes (ADC).
Honorable mention to BMR-ry0ma (MID).

Rookie award went to DW-Katsuri (ADC).
Honorable mention to MMM-Fudge (TOP).

Most Improved award went to DW-Getback (MID).
Honorable mention to BMR-Looch (ADC).

Weird season. The were in winning positions a lot of the time, but just couldn’t close it out effectively. The loss of Balkin and FBI was very telling. But that’s how these leagues roll really.

MMM ended up winning the Split 2 Grand Final at Melbourne Esports Open on (2019-08-31), in a surprising clean sweep over CHF (Chiefs).

MMM d CHF.
Game 1. 16 - 3
Game 2. 19 - 9
Game 3. 14 - 17 (they won anyway)

This qualifies them for the 2019 Season World Championship Play-Ins.

Their World Cup campaign starts tonight!

They have to make it through play-ins before they even get a look at the Group Stage.
No Oceanic team has ever made it to a Group Stage before, so I’ll be watching to see if that happens.

The Play-In stage opponents/group consists of:

  • MMM (Mammoth) - Oceanic Champions
  • UOL (Unicorns of Love) - Russian Champions
  • CL (Clutch Gaming) - North America 3rd place

There are 2 games tonight.
Expect the first one to be LIVE between our 11 PM and midnight.
The second one is 2 hours later between 1 AM and 2 AM.

There will be 2 more games, 2 days later.

Btw, Virtually every Oceanic League player is on a 1-year contract that expires in November (after Worlds has finished). So we won’t know if we’re switching anyone, or if any other teams are changing players until after that.
Last year, Bombers announced the entire new roster at the start of December.

Don’t know anything about UoL but Clutch are quite strong, be a challenge for MMM, as always with oce don’t think we have developed enough to make a real dent in intl comps

2 upsets already in mammoth’s group, group wide open now

That was such an Essendon game. It felt like the equivalent of being 6 goals up wth 10 minutes to go in the last, and it still didn’t feel safe.

MMM went 1 W and 1 L in Round 1.

Round 2 is on tonight. (10 PM and midnight)

Top 2 in the group will advance.

Each team won 2 and lost 2. Mammoth play UoL now to decide who goes through the next stage, loser is eliminated.

Winner goes on to play Clutch (who are seeded higher for the moment as they won their games quickest out of the 3 teams) to decide 1/2 seed.

And it’s over. MMM have been eliminated.

A bit more information about the Grouping.
The teams are seeded into the groups so that the groups are not entirely composed of strong region teams or weak region teams.

In MMM’s group (Group A):

  • The American team (CG) are the #1 seed
  • The Russian team (UOL) are the #2 seed
  • Us, the Oceanic team (MMM) are the #3 seed

At the round-robin stage:

  • The #2 seed (UOL) upset the #1 seed (CG) twice.
  • Us, the #3 seed (MMM) then upset the #2 seed (UOL) twice.
  • And finally, the #1 seed (CG) smashed us twice.

Leading to every team finishing at 2 W - 2 L in a prefect Rock-Paper-Scissors 3-way tie.

Tie-breakers were played at like 4 AM. I didn’t stay up for it, but it was a slaughter.
On the third try, UOL defeated MMM with a score of about 15 kills to 1.

CG and UOL advance…
and MMM are eliminated.

The wash-up.
This was the best team Oceanic could have sent to Worlds this year.
MMM are clearly better than CHF and ORD.

But, the best team in Oceanic this year, I reckon was FBI-BalKhan-Bombers.
We got gutted by those player transfers in the second half of the year.
Bombers were only mediocre at MSI, but it would’ve been most of the team’s first time at an international, we had a rookie, team was playing on stage for the first time and i think the schedule got condensed from about 6 days into 2 days because of events in Vietnam. So lots of factors that would’ve made them nervous.

In the end, MMM made it exactly as far as any previous Oceanic representative, so our region still looks weak.

What next for Bombers?
I’m sure our recruiting staff are already looking far and wide for a roster revamp.

Our goal should still not only be dominating the OPL, but then making splashes at Internationals.
To do that, we need superstar talent at every position.
Teams can do well in OPL, even if carrying 1 or 2 average players, but those teams are exposed at international level.

I only started following League of Legends in 2019.
One thing I was not expecting was the massive and frequent player turnover between teams.
2018 into 2019 actually had an 80% turnover in OPL rosters. Basically, each team kept 1 of their starting 5 and exchanged the other 4.
So, anything could happen…

Not saying rosters are completely stable in other regions but turnover is nowhere near as high elsewhere

Doesn’t help that a fair few OPL players get cherrypicked to go elsewhere

The World Championships 2019 just finished.

It was won by a Chinese team (FunPlus Phoenix).
Good story. This team finished 7th (8 W - 11 L) in the Chinese league in 2018. They made 2 changes to their main roster, bringing in 18yo wunderkid (Tian) for Jungle and Chinese League veteran (Doinb) to play Mid-Lane.
They then finished 1st in both Split 1 (13 - 2) and Split 2 (14 - 1).
Arrived at worlds with 5 players first time at an international tournament, and won the whole thing!

So I figured it’d be time to check the roster changes for next year.

Seems OPL teams have had their conversations with their personnel in the last 2 weeks of October.
Lots of news about roster changes. Everyone’s twitters lighting up.

On our front:

  • We have delisted 1 main roster member (Rogue)
  • We have delisted 2 secondary roster members (Seb, Sprenstama)

  • Rogue’s twitters mentions that he is a free agent now and thanks the Bombers for the time. So, he’s gone. (No official announcement on essendonfc.com.au yet though).

  • Ry0ma, Wilder and Soulstrikes twitters mention that they have permissions to pursue other opportunities, but are still tied to Bombers for now.

  • No word on Looch or Mimic.

  • Seb and Sprenstama were officially substitute players on the Bombers senior roster. We never used any sub in any of our 2019 games, so you may not know the names. They played most of the year with the Bombers junior team.

Judging by all the players and coaches twitters, I’d say over 90% of personnel are exploring their options this trade period, so I’m expecting mass changes again.

On Rogue, my thoughts are, really nice guy. Played exceptionally well when paired with his long-time friend FBI, and less so when paired with Looch.
Maybe Bombers thought Rogue’s peak is only if FBI is there (and it’s unlikely we’ll get FBI back from America)… or maybe we’ve already inquired into the services of a Support player with a bigger reputation than Rogue.

Thanks for the update.

I do dislike the lack of continuity in roster.

Never the less, I guess we will see what happens.
