Aaron Francis. Gun in the making, pulled in a game-high four contested marks, to go along with 14 disposals, seven intercept possessions and three score launches. His marking was great and he broke tackles with ease.
JoeDan. Had some teeth replaced early in the 1st quarter. Tough game for him with Sauce all over him. Took some good grabs and kicked 4.1, his best return for the year.
Lav. Good hands, good use of the body and a good kick at goal. Like his intent. 14 disposals, 6 marks and 5 tackles.
Paddy Ambrose. Gave away a few cms, but still blanketed his man again today.
Walla. Makes stuff happen. Runs too fast for the ground to keep up with him. Makes the opposition backs nervous with the ball in hand. 13 disposals, 4 marks, 3 tackles, 1 goal. Is he wearing two different boots? Maybe one with longer studs??
Look away mark.
Pops Kelly. Solid play from Pops. 16 disposals, 3 marks, 5 tackles.
Raz. Kicked three goals, but two came late in the last qtr. 10 disposals, 4 marks and 9 tackles.
Captain BJ. I thought he played one of his better games, pity the rest of the team weren’t as up as him. His kicking was on target and he played the spare man back well.
The Langford. 19 disposals, 7 marks, 3 tackles and a goal. He moves well and has huge upside for a 19 year old.
Zachy Merrett. Star player. Thank goodness we have him in the team, he just keeps on keeping on. Desperation and good skills to boot.
Smack. Struggled again, doesn’t seem to get to be able to get into the game. The grab and quick play on kick to JoeDan was great, the attempted play on handball over the top to Raz was not! Thankfully called back as no advantage.
Darcy. Fantastic hands, can take a grab, loves a niggle. Puts his body on the line. 21 disposals, 5 marks (3 contested marks), 4 tackles, 13 contested possies, 90.5% disposal eff, 5 clr and 5 I50.
Dempsey. 15 disposals, 6 clangers, 3 marks, 1 tackle and a bad 50 mtr penalty. Stinking it up at the moment and not doing himself any favours for next season.
Leuenberger. Led hit outs with 36. 18 disposals, 2 marks, 3 tackles. They kept roving off of Leuny today and our mids couldn’t get near it.

Coony. 19 disposals @ 52%. 4 clangers. 2 behinds. Loopy kicks downfield. He is getting to the ball but his decisions and kicking are letting him down. Not playing as you would expect of a former Brownlow winner.
Gleeson. I like Marty but he needs to use what body he does have to impact the marking contest. Raise a knee, hit the body, do something! 17 disposals, 4 marks, 4 R50. Generally steady with the ball and uses it well, but that lack of mongrel when attacking the aerial ball will cost him.
Matt Dea. 16 disposals, 5 marks, 3 tackles, 7 1%ers.
Mitch Brown. His kicking for goal has been poor of lately, but then he is not on his pat malone there! 12 disposals, 3 marks, 1.2 goals.
Zaharakis. Tagged out of the game again. Made Mitch Robinson look good! Not good enough from Zaka, he can do so much better. I wonder if he has turned off for the year already. 13 disposals, 2 marks, 7 tackles, 4 I50.

Woosha. Reckon he would have been very dissappointed with the goal kicking today. The effort was there but for the ■■■■■■ kicking, once again.

Leppa. I thought he was smart today in taking the game day mic and letting people listen in. It put the pressure on to his players as they would look even worse had they lost to the Bombers.
