Holmes reported what he said. Prior to going to air she contacted the Australians but got no comment. She shouldn’t have reported the views of one person, but she didn’t deserve the vitriol hurled at her ( including lies about her personal life) or the refusal of basketballers who dumped on her to engage with her in clarifying the situation ( as compared to being keyboard warriors)

I am livid at this decision.
The head coach was suspended for ‘inciting unsportsmanlike behavior’. Would love to hear that audio from the time out, clearly he incited his team - but only for 1 game. Watch the footage of the bench, ready to go.

In fairness, if Goulding hasn’t chosen to lie on the ground and get pummelled by 20 players, officials and stadium staff then none of this would have happened.
