Completely agree with you. If they can’t fix the culture then we are doomed to repeat this cycle. There are no easy fixes or quick turnarounds. Being in Sydney I only get to 4-5 games per year, and that Giants game hit me right between the eyes. There are so many things wrong but if they don’t fix the culture first nothing else will help. Gee I hope Scott was serious with his “AFL lifestyle” comments.

Parish has been in the bests in just about every big game we’ve played, ditto McGrath.

Should have gone for 11…

Nailed it.

The inevitable pressure will come with the losses next year. ‘Fan’ Robbo, emotional outbursts and media whipping up a frenzy, “Is Scott the right coach?” Etc. It sells papers and gets clicks. But doesn’t help stability, unity & deliver wins and sustainability… But there’s no quick fix. No clicking of the fingers for a solve. It’s going to be challenging and will test everyone.

As Bomber said last week, history says these difficult times ‘chew them up’. I’m more confident Barham et all will support Vozzo / Scott unlike any previous iteration.

Let’s hope Vozzo / Scott see through cultural rebuild, footy program overhaul and list evolution. And critically, get it right.

This feels like our last chance and best hope. The footy industry will try and derail it, put pressure on the organisation. I just hope beyond hope we prevail and get through the challenges ahead and rise above the clouds to the magnificent sunshine ahead :pray:

Would be interested to know when they last did that.

Wouldn’t work, boundaries and structure needs to be in place first, then consequences followed if they don’t comply.

Club has been very weak, lacked discipline, meek.

Sheedy got the list to do one of those camps years ago. l remember Kepler Bradley had just arrived and he said it was brutal.

Just play Voss and he will deliver this metric. Ultimately if he isn’t good enough we’ll find out but he will deliver this metric. Uncompromisingly hard at it. There’s a start.
Barry Hall was 194cm and 104kg. Wayne Carey was 192cm and 97 kg.
Patrick Voss 194cm and 96kg at 19 yrs.
Come on!

In our last final Parish had 35 disposals, a goal and 18 contested possessions against probably the best contested midfield in the game at the time while being tagged by Dunkley for half the game.

That’s fantastic to hear

It would be interesting to know which players. I reckon it’s a fair indicator of which players have the most drive to succeed.

Plus also which coaches . Might give us an idea which coaches are likely to still be with us next season

Love this. Makes Hobbs, Perkins, Guelfi and Caldwell’s trip to Ibiza even more fkn stupid.

Would be even better if they were there Thursday or last night. Would hurt them a lot more to see Fark Carlton or Collingwood win compared to St Kilda

I can admit I got that one wrong he does do well in big games. He does phone some in though in the regulars season

Probably easier to get group tickets for this game.
