Brad Scott - yeah, whatever (Part 4)

Except he is the one that is responsible for weeding them out, and wont.

He has routinely thrown younger players under the bus after every poor performance. The senior players and Brads favourites get a free run at it, so why the fark would the feel any pressure to perform? And the one farking time he actually should have backed a senior bloke in he dropped Heppell for a potential retirement game in Melbourne. He has no clue.

Redman should have been dropped 3 weeks ago, his defensive efforts and awareness are deplorable, and he has been turning the ball over left right and centre.

Under any half decent coach, Lewis Hayes would have another 15 games under his belt, Nick Bryan would have close to 25 more games played. Tsatas too.

We have no semblance of a game plan other than chip it side ways over and over to retain the ball then eventually kick it long. We barely beat the worst teams and we routinely get belted by the best one, for 3 years now. He repeatedly lines us up too tall on wet games to the point where it has directly cost us victories and he takes aeons too long to admit he has made mistakes i.e Jones on a wing.
Him subbing out Saad at half time was just typical Brad Scott grade A turd coaching. Its also pretty fair to say he is the major reason Massimo is no longer on our list.

The list needs work but there is absolutely no way on Earth it
is as bad as these results suggest.

Its straight up delusion if you think this guy is the man to take us forward.

Still can’t believe he said our plan for Bont worked! That is the level of delusion and incompetence we are dealing with.

This bloke is worse than Knights, Rutten, Worsfold.

I’m so glad we have such a good relationship with the AFL now, and whether it’s having them appoint our coaches or us recruiting directly from their personnel, it’s working out in a really calm, professional way for all parties. What’s a few generations of players lost to the wilderness and a permanently depressed fanbase compared to a calm, professional, smoothly run organisation and pleasing your parent company?

Brads like that person who we’ve all worked with before, great talker, sounds like he knows his stuff, then when he leaves you realised he didn’t do any work at all

This is what infuriates me, we beat a better bulldogs outfit than last night, the last time we played them, they are not a 100 point better side than us, what the ■■■■ is it with this team?

100% agreed. It’s so easy to fix too.

He said the same thing after the Pies match.

We finally got rid of the snake oil salesman of the club in Dodoro, and then hired an ever bigger one

who’s job exactly is it to “weed” them out ? would that not be the exact same guy who plays them week in week out ?
who’s the guy that allowed Redman to become apart of the leadership group ?

Who was the coach when Redman signed a long term deal ?
who was coach when Mcgrath did the same ?
who was the coach who when Langford was given a contract extension ? (granted only 1 year, but still)
who was coach when perkins last signed on for 2 years ?

So who’s the guy who’s not weeding the pea hearted players out of the side, instead rewarding all of them with not only safety and security of a contract, but actually continually plays them no matter what ?

oh yeah, it’s the guy who can’t play the game for them. nah he’s just the guy who sends them out every week to implement his vision, and it’s going oh so well 3 years in

Brad is responsible for picking these guys.

Brad would also have had a say in extenting Jones contract.

He inherited an absolutely ■■■■ list. That’s not on him. But he is choosing to play players who don’t meet the standard.

I haven’t watched the game but was Merrett never in the midfield? Horrible coaching if true.

Merrett attended 81% of centre bounces

Brad Scott insinuates that losing by 91 was the result of backing his young team rather than making changes at half time to save face.

Only problem Brad you sub a young inexperienced player at half time for Dylan Sheil.

Complete contradiction.

that’s the point a lot of people miss though.

We beat them last year cos they were severely out of form at the time we played them. People forget that part and it’s not as believable as say if you were to say it about our hawks game last year, cos what they went 1-6 to start the season.

people can sure as ■■■■ identify games we lost due to being out of form or injuries though.

people will say the same things next year when sydney and port belt us when they are over this years blues.

This guy is an absolute fraud of the highest degree. Not only is he taking money that he doesn’t deserve, but worse he is ruining the livelihoods of the players on our list. As others have said, it’s time to change the game plan or change the coach.
Scott is into his 3rd year and hasn’t developed a plan to take us forward so changing him, and also the idiots who gave him a 12 month extension at the start of the year, is the easy answer.
He should be allowed the remainder of the year to show the supporters and the footy world at large if he is deserving of avoiding the axe.

At least the dumb jerking off of our ‘much improved defence’ after falling over the line against a few bottom 6 teams in low scoring sh*tfests will now cease.

It was always a mirage, every time we play a finals calibre opponent we get blown wide open.

Hmmmm. Can you explain which wins this year have been good wins? We haven’t even displayed a four quarter effort in any game this year.

Is this fraud still gainfully employed?

It’s not a problem solved by swapping one player. We avoid games like by our key players playing to the level which they should be playing at and setting the tone for the rest.

Merrett and Caldwell, arguably our 1st and 2nd best mids of last year, both played close to career-worst games. Durham tried hard, but was still off his best. A year ago he was burning off an underwhelming Bont and hitting forwards on the chest from the centre bounce.

Those guys are your midfield core who have shown in the past that they can at least do their jobs to AFL standard while others may not. Unfortunately, almost all of them had shockers and it cascaded through to the players who aren’t that good at the best of times. Every player who is off makes it that much harder for the next guy to play with confidence.

Employed, yes.
Gainfully… hmm… not so much.
