Brad Scott - yeah, whatever (Part 4)

I said that last week, and it’s pretty accurate.

watching the game tonight, legitimately i’m trying to think back across the years and think of any side that was this soft and noncompetitive, and I just can’t.

Merrett, durham, roberts and 50 50 on durrsma, they are the only players i can see out there that aren’t soft, aren’t scared, and actually go into a contest with any physical presence.

the rest are just absolutely soft, allow themselves to be bullied and walked over.

for a coach who thrived on physicality and using force and fear to intimidate opposition players and clubs, it’s actually pretty pathetic to see the softness he’s cultivated at the club.

“no one could be any worse than rutten” was a widely held view here a couple of years ago

Rutten was a shocker - on a par with Scott.

Personally nothing compares to 12-15. Killed any love I had for the game.

Fraud.

Only way Brad gets some credibility back is by outright sacking blokes with contracts.

Guelfi, Gresham, Jones etc all need to go

Rutten really should have punched Hind in the ■■■■■■■ face that night.

We’ve been a laughing stock a lot longer than that mate.

We’re closer to sacking our next two coaches before winning a final.

3 years of spectacular stability.
Praise be to Dave Barham. Our saviour.

What do you think will happen? I’d love for us to cut hard and show everyone that we really are going to hit the draft for 2-3 years. It just feels like this club still doesn’t understand where we’re at. The President and board I have no confidence in. The coach is uninspiring and was brought to the club on false pretence (see President and board). I’m hinging it all on Rosa, and I know I shouldn’t do that because we are just bad at everything we do. If he’s smart he’ll run away from this club as quickly as possible.

rutten tried to implement his plan, without the backing and power of a scott, and the players downed tools on him and he was scapegoated.

he got a year and half. scott is into his 13th season as an afl coach.

one coach was in theory a shocker.

the other coach is just out right terrible.

and we gave the terrible one 5 years, and now a growing number hope he’s gone in year 4.

We can only hope.

Played a younger list than Brad and still only got 2 years whilst this fraud has 3 and we are getting worse

I wonder if his media honeymoon period can continue deep into next year

“ McGrath turns it over”

Never has a truer phrase been spoken

McGrath gets stiff armed.

I deeply regret that I’m sober and therefore cannot contribute to this thread.

Barham spoke a big game about making rapid change for the positive and after 3 years, the club is arguably worse than it was in Rutten’s final year.

And the kicker? He extended Brads contract.

This prick should go too.
