We are very likely trying to do something similar to other teams, they are just better at it. Better at implementing it defensively and better at breaking through it on offence when the slightest mistake is made.

I am a bit more optimistic than most. Sure, our youngsters are not ready but we just need to keep playing them. Young players can improve very quickly and as the year is a write off we can have a look at the younguns and assess which ones are likely to improve. My expectation is we will see improvement by the end of the year and next year, with another pre season the young ones will start getting talked about. If we draft well it could be a big improvement year next year.
That’s my hope but my worry is Brad has a tendency to favour the older core group and once they are fit again out come the young guys and in comes the guys who have got us nowhere for years
not so much the board spills, but peoples positions on the board are under threat, then they will scurry little the little rats they are to sack brad and lay all the blame at barham’s feet.
he did a lot of knifing in peoples backs, this time next year they will start coming for him and throwing him under the bus, just as much as brad.

I’m not denying he inherited a premiership list…that was 14 years ago!!! He keeps delivering and Geelong keep bringing in average players and turns them into good players, Chris simply is the best coach on the last 20 years, better than Clarkson in my view.
He has the respect on his players

Reid is always injured too get rid of him as well
Our defense is bad, that doesn’t mean there is no system or that our system is significantly different to other teams, we are probably just implementing it poorly.
Maybe if he gets injured again

You are in la la land thinking sacking a coach is always the answer.
Success begets success, players go there because of there success, average players go there and because of the successful culture and successful players around them they excel , much easier to be an average player in a great team than great player in a ■■■■ one ( merrett ). one player can not turn around the culture of success, they dont just get average players though , they just keep pulling money from nowhere and luring stars

The plan is for him to fix up the club and rebuild the list getting results on field is secondary for us atm imo.
