Can this 2018 Team be as good as 2000? Nope!

Yes, thank you.

Huge Lolz. No.

I’m backing Jamar… in the fist fight.

Well of course they do, because they haven’t played yet and all the others have.

Seeming as Free Spirit quit Blitz to join the hippy lifestyle, you might be waiting a little on that explanation.

Bullocks. The majority of the 2006 side had at least played in a finals win.

Holy ā– ā– ā– ā–  dude you just snuck Ambrose into the 2000 team. I dig it but it’s like saying he’s at least one of our best players right now, but he’s probably on one the lowest pay rates, which says a lot either way.

All but a handful of the least experienced players in the 2000 side had been through multiple finals campaigns including Grand and Preliminary finals.

Since Watson and Stanton retired no-one in the current squad has even won a single final as an Essendon player. Now Richmond hadn’t won one either until last season, but then again no-one is comparing them to one of the greatest sides of all time.

Ambrose has to compete with Fletcher, Wellman, Hurley, Hooker, Barnard and Wallis. The only one of those he gets close to is Wallis and he himself would miss out for the first four anyway.

Wallis > Ambrose.

Ambrose can bash Brad Green to the point where he’s taken off and doesn’t play for the rest of the GF
