Ah, I see the antivax bunny-boilers are out in force about it too…

Peter Higgs, 94.

A Nobel laureate, and the only person (thus far) to have an elementary boson named after him…

Very sad. He was always reasonable on his commentary on footy (and other) issues and no bias whatsoever. A very good reporter.

It’s unbelievable. Actually sickening.

Did nobody die unexpectedly before 2020? That’s pretty much the point they are unsuccessfully trying to argue. Morons.

Few things freak me out more than those who are just going about their normal business, and then have heart attacks and are gone in the blink of an eye.

Especially if they seem particularly young and healthy. I’m very close to their age or slightly older, and not what I would call particularly fit.

:disappointed_relieved:

Tassie boy I think?

Either way, that’s pretty young.

Pretty young?
Indecently so.

Not a bad way to go though.

They will probably find he had some sort of heart defect. So many ppl don’t know they are a ticking time bomb

The Bangkok Post had regular articles on him and sumo tournaments. They would always name him as Akebono (American Chad Rowan), every single time. As if readers didn’t know who he was after the first 20 times they mentioned it.

The Juice is no longer loose.
OJ “if the glove don’t fit, you must acquit” has quit living at 76.

Excellent sports guy, somewhat amusing comedic sidekick, terrible burglar and not exactly winning any husband of the year awards.

I remember the hype in the build up to that trial, it was called, The Trial of the Century. I probably would have opted for Nuremberg. Although he was acquitted l have no doubt that he was 100% guilty and the US legal system failed in its efforts to convict him.
