Frank Gehry: Legendary US architect dies aged 96
Frank Gehry was acclaimed for his love of jagged angles and use of industrial materials.
Yeah, I know, just having a bit of fun

Roy clark
Red Volkhardt
Danny Gatton
Brent mason
Bard paisley
Jimmy page ( for the fact most of his studio work is a tele)
Keith Richards
Steve cropper
Jerry reed
Who have missed?
Look back 5 posts.
Albert Gene Collins (October 1, 1932 – November 24, 1993)[1] was an American electric blues guitarist and singer with a distinctive guitar style. He was noted for his powerful playing and his use of altered tunings and a capo. His long association with the Fender Telecaster led to the title “The Master of the Telecaster”. (Wikipedia)
Roy Buchanan was a definite master.
Prince
Tom Morello
Marty Stuart
Rick Parfitt/ Francis Rossi, ( maybe more sound/ tone than pure technique)
Tommy Emmanuel- with Dragon.
It’s a great instrument
Can’t forget James Burton..
Yeah. Its sounds lovely.
But its ugly
Test Match batting.
Just heard the news damm he was awesome as Shang Shung in the OG Mortal Kombat film
RIP Cary-Hiroyuki
Definitely greatest blues player on a tele
A stroke finished him
I don’t think he’d be unhappy about that potentially distasteful quip. Hopefully.
I feel that Stevie Ray Vaughan warrants a mention in the Telecas…
Proof that you should always check your recollections. I was halfway to posting this before I fact-checked myself.
I respectfully nominate SRV for the stratocaster discussion, and propose a new thread.
In closing, Collins is the clear winner for mine.
Was going to suggest Rory Gallagher who loved his Telecaster early doors, and then returned to it in his latter years IIRC. He used and was identified more with his old battered strat tbf.
That is clearly an eye of the beholder thing. I think it looks great.
Yeah. True. I was definitely speaking subjectively. I should’ve worded that better.
Theres some I do like the look of. For me it’s the headstock. It just looks unbalanced or something.
I remember an old Stratocaster documentary from the 90s where one of the original designers at Fender or something was being interviewed. He described the Tele as being a pretty girl in a bad dress. I always think of that description.
I would most certainly rock the KingFish Tele if given a chance though. I think they look killer.
Sorry to drag the guitar thread off topic

Some wacky buildings there.
Ooh… I’ve seen that second one… that’s in Prague. Didn’t know who was behind it.
