You shouldn’t apologise.
I spent longer than is reasonable trying to shoehorn “C, R, M, 8” in somewhere.

Watched a number of those shows growing up (or rather, mum did). Terrific actress. Often opposite Bowles.
In addition to the two above there were many other good series. There was also the one where she was in parliament. And the one where she and her husband (Bowles again) have to hide they’re married as the company introduces a rule against married couples working there.
One of the first shows in which she starred was a thing called The Norman Conquests, which was a set of three plays written by Alan Ayckbourn, first performed on stage and then done for TV in 1977. I only saw it once but it was fall on the floor funny. Penelope Keith was in it, Richard Briers, Tom Courtenay, Penelope Wilton. Norman was played by Tom Conti. The plays all showed the same events, but from different points of view. I think you can still find it. It’s probably rather dated now but I bet it’s still funny once you get into it.
I’m guessing Victor got out before having to sing YMCA on the 4th of July.
I love Bonnie Tyler. What a loss RIP
Can’t say I’m familiar with their music but still tragic.
I love Bonnie Tyler’s vocals on It’s a Heartache. Absolutely perfect for what that song is about.
Same. This is very sad ![]()
Sort of not surprising considering what was going on but still devastating.
RIP Bonnie.
Yes. I actually wasn’t aware how ill she had been in recent weeks.
She’d been in a coma for awhile, I think.
Total Eclipse of the Heart is my preferred karaoke song*. Mostly because I can do the high notes right at the end of the song.
Just have to find some jobbers to do the "turn around”s.
* Actually, my first choice is Genesis’ Supper’s Ready, but for some reason they always throw me out when I suggest it.
Some people just don’t have an appreciation for things like Apocalypse in 9/8.

Hey, don’t u be dissing the great work of Canadian vocalist Rory Dodd!
That’s a pretty tragic story given the history of that girl group.
Box this lap Essendon to retire the team.
My band was once permabanned from an open mic night simply for treating the assembled crowd to a stripped back, acoustic medley of The Bloodhound Gang’s “Ballad of Chasey Lain” and Blink-182’s … errrrr… “pirate song”, shall we say.
This is how romance dies in a society.
