A bloke with a very big record collection.
Forgot he was the driving force behind Ol’55

He was an amazing rock/pop historian and story-teller rather than a critic, and I respected and appreciated that about him.

I do remember it all starting to get too much for him maybe around the early 2000s.

All the different genres of dance and indie plus the whole history of rock is too much for one head.

Gunther von Hagens.

Founder of the plastination method to fix cadavers into set positions.

His work is world famous but the guy wasn’t a clean skin when it came to ethics (and in anything involving human cadavers, that’s a rather significant issue). But, nonetheless, he contributed a significant amount toward public interest in the fields of human anatomy & physiology.

Was that the guy that did the show with the corpse?

Yep. That’s the guy.

He looked exactly like he should look.

Franco Baresi, Italian football legend passed away aged 66.

As much as I despise Milan he was an all time great of the game and was privileged to see him play live

Taken his rolling from the penalty box to the grave.

Oh wow, he was young.

Genuine star and huge for both Milan and Italy in the 90s.

Milan went unbeaten for 50-odd games and was largely due to our back 4 which he was the sweeper for it.

A great leader as well.

Can’t believe that is filtered.

The notorious Kath Pettingill has finally left the planet. Google her, if you don’t recognise the name.
