Pretty sure he was a Bombers supporter
I remember my mum telling me this back in the 80’s

I’ve had a little bit to do with Johhny. Much loved and very generous guy.
He’ll be missed.
RIP.
Mostly associated with YTT, but he also wrote Russell Morris’ The Real Thing…
He also wrote “Part Three Into Paper Walls” and “The Girl That I Love” for Russell Morris, “Smiley” for Ronnie Burns, “I Thank You” for Lionel Rose and “Here Comes the Star” for Ross D Wiley and Hermann’s Hermits. All chart toppers. He wrote a lot of others.
Also he produced a lot of albums. Including Colleen Hewett’s, Jamie Redfern’s and… Bert and Patti’s Family Album.
He pretty much stopped when Young Talent Time and his talent schools came along. Pity. He had real talent as a songwriter.
RIP Johnny
Close your eyes and I’ll kiss you
Tomorrow I’ll miss you
Remember I’ll always be true
And then while I’m away
I’ll write home every day
And I’ll send all my lovin’ to you
I’ll pretend that I’m kissing
Those lips I am missing
And hope that our dreams will all come true
And then while I’m away
I’ll write home every day
And I’ll send all my lovin’ to you
All my lovin’ I will send to you
All my lovin’, darlin’, I’ll be true
(Close your eyes and I’ll kiss you) Close your eyes and I’ll kiss you
(Tomorrow I’ll miss you) ‘Cause you know tomorrow I’ll be missing you
(Remembеr I’ll always be true) And I know therе’s one thing that you can be sure of: I’ll never, ever be untrue
(And then while I’m away) And don’t you know, darlin’, that even when I’m far, far away
(I’ll write home every day) I’ll be writing home to you every day
(And I’ll send all my lovin’ to you) And I’ll be sending all of my lovin’ to only you
All my lovin’ I will send to you (Ooh)
All my lovin’, darlin’, I’ll be true (Ooh)
I wonder what would cause an 18 year old to have a brain hemhorrage. That’s really heartbreaking.
These are the kinds of things that give me pause and that I think about when I’m trying to sleep. I have a 16 year old and a 13 year old and I couldn’t imagine something so sudden and unexpected taking them from me.
BUT WHAT NEWS OF WOODROW?
Wasn’t that a Beatles song
Ask Simon Townsend…
I can’t. He’s dead.
Which one?
Not helpful really.
Townsended. Doggone.
Hey Dingus, even though Townsend and Young looked similar, Woodrow was Townsends dog.

Hayden Panettiere ![]()
I know she was troubled but damn. Only 36.
Loved her as Juliette Barnes in the show Nashville.
And her character there mirrored her own life in many ways sadly.
Was she the young girl in Remember the Titans?
Yep!
I think it was @Dunlop who was the huge Hayden Panettiere fan.
36 is young…less than half my age.
