Spent many hours listening to his commentary on the ABC growing up.
He had finished playing by time I was born but my Pop held him in high regards and often used to lament that we never saw the very best of him for a sustained period as he was named COTY and then 2 games into the next season he suffered a career ending back injury and that was the end of him

I used to go to cricket coaching clinics when I was a lot younger and Stacky was one of the coaches, alongside Graeme Yallop, Ray Bright, Merv Hughes, etc. Was an aggressive, hard-hitting opener at a time when they were usually there just to wear the shine off the ball.

but I will add he was still a good person and progressive to the point he wanted the Church to change its views on women becoming priests and gay marriage.
Not all members of the church are pedos otherwise you would also condemn the scout movement and school teachers!
