Those “potential ins” are absolute garbage. Nothing there will help this team move forward. The only way to fix our complete basket case of a list is to move on the old boys, Hooker, Hurley, Zaka, TBell, get as many picks inside 40 as we can, ■■■■ off disco (this mans ability to build a decent list is a bigger myth than the loch nest monster)and start again.

But we all know what will happen, we will let go Raz and Francis, and keep the above, Brown, McKernan, and wonder why we don’t improve next year, and go missing in the big games.

That and find a decent ■■■■■■■ coach who actually has some of his own ideas on how to mound the cattle at his disposal into a competitive team who play hard, uncompromising football… basically the opposite of what we currently do.

Reckon the Club is fully content with another “successful season” and won’t address the multitude of on and off field issues which consign Essendon to mediocrity and finals ineptitude.

watching richmonds defence, although under the pump in a huge way makes me realise how much our defence sucks.

Delist Hurley, Hooker and try to turn bezerker into grimes. Do we have any other medium tall defenders coming through?

I reckon we need to move on Hurley. Get assets and try and poach a key back in the same age bracket as Joe, Zach and co.

Play Hooker forward. Build around Zerk, Francis, Ambrose.

Transition from Hooker to Stewart at some stage.

Go after Josh Bruce? Has a decent record of 35+ goal seasons and would be better than Brown. Hard to think of anyone else. Pat Kerr? Would offer a future 1st and 2nd rounder for Ben King.

Explain to me, in an intelligent way (if capable), how you go about doing this when they are contracted on big money till 2022 and 2021 respectively ???
