Changes for 2021 Dreamtime V Tigers

Wearing a wrist guard

Think they get Edwards and Lambert back this week

Facing a full strength Richmond

No Tom Lynch.

Thank fck

Definitely not Lambert.

Edwards probably.

Edwards always kills us

Him and Martin are the two that cause us most grief

You probably say that about half a dozen others as well.

True but those two seem to stand out imo

Right now, the only day they’re predicting rain is on Saturday. I’m hoping it won’t be a significant amount?

would we consider Bolton to be similar to Ryan last week? might mean Ridley gets him…

This is a great, great test for us.
Richmond will have a very strong side on the park, most of the returning players got a game under their belt last week, and they simply cannot afford to go 6 - 6 and hope to make the Top 4.

How close we can get will tell us a helluva lot about how far we’ve come since the first 2 rounds, and a meaningful indicator of how competitive we can be for the rest of the season, particularly against the quality of Melb, Gee & WB.

Don’t be scared Blitzers…be excited !

Francis in I agree with, so Zerk out…Francis straight to Reiwolt.

Harry is too important for our forward structures, so stays IMO and I reckon Philips has earnt his spot

R1 Home Win Fark Carlton 25 pts Meh
R2 Away Win Dawks 29 pts Double Meh
R3 Home Loss Sydney 45 pts True colours starting to show
R4 Away Loss Pot Adelaide 2 pts Honorable
R5 Away Win St. Kilda 86 pts Proper win
R6 Away Loss Melbourne 34 pts Still have not beaten a reasonably good side
R7 Home Win Bulldogs 22 pts Now they have
R8 Home Loss Cats 63 pts Previous week was fake-back to uncertainty
R9 Home Win Giants 4 pts Lucky
R10 Away Loss Lions 28 pts More confirmation they can’t beat a good team
R11 Home Win Crows 28 pts Meh again
R12 Away Bombers

If we play the way we have been playing and put ourselves into the good team category (which I think we are) then we can beat these pus sies at Optus Oval.

We’re definitely a chance this weekend. Gut feel though is we need a tight tag on Dusty and a plan for Edwards. Tiges have some excellent players but we’re on the wave and as a team, better than they at the moment.

Weird how fast things move. I bet those Bombers over there this week are really jumping. They’ve got the taste … so let rip I say.

Package, Tippa, Zerrett and MCG, show us the way. Its been a long time coming this sort of clash.

Richmond in the rain… not good for us

Perth’s forecast for Saturday is for a “few showers” with a 70% chance of between 2 and 5mm.

Hardly the end of the world.

The forecast prior to the Eagles game was for “showers and thunderstorms” with a 100% chance of between 20 and 30mm. Most of this fell earlier in the day and the game only had a couple of light showers that didn’t really have a huge impact.

Hirdy said sometimes we (the coaches) would like zaka to go in harder.
That was extended by keyboard heroes that struggle to work out how to put their socks on to zaka is soft.

Hopefully enough of our WA members take up the running for this one and show up. Would be awesome to actually have more than 2-3 thousand bomber fans in the stadium. Would love it to be our home away from home for this game with20-30 thousand screaming Bombers supporters getting behind the team. Also believe we will be doing a Long Walk over here as well. Really excited about being able to attend this game.

It always looks like Dons get good support in the West. What do WA Blitzers think about Richmond’s support in comparison? Can we get this to be like our game v Freo at the Docklands?

Who said so? About 2-3 years ago we played them in the rain, we outplayed them and they only got on top of us when it dried up late.

We play blue collar footy with tackling at its core. Rain shouldn’t hurt us if we go in with wet weather football mindset… Brisbane game we didn’t play to that mantra.
