Changes for 2021 Dreamtime V Tigers

If someone said to us two weeks ago…

“You’ll win at least one of West Coast in Perth & Richmond in that block of games”

We would’ve taken it in a heartbeat. Everything from here is a bonus.

I reckon they might look to pinch hit with Pickett as they have previously and against what we may do with Langers/Cox

In which case with only two talls plus Dusty fwd can see Zerk missing out. Not required

We’d have to change things up a bit. Guelfi into back 7. And perhaps both Ham and Cahill in to fwd/mid.

Really going to the well. That bye couldn’t come soon enough for the troops to regroup.

Nank is a very good ruckman and is a barometer for them, really helpful out.

Is Drapes likely? My dream team is relying on it…

I think because Coleman Jones and Chol are both genuine forward options rather than ruck first sort of guys they will play both. Especially with Lynch out. But yeah they have run with one ruck and a guy like Pickett chiming in at times.

The teams this Thursday night will be very interesting.

Phillips might actually dominate which would be very handy

Great chance to bring Draper in, now that they don’t have their first string ruck in.

Over on the Tiger’s BF board, they’re saying that Edwards is currently in isolation. Has a headache and is awaiting a COVID test.

Hmm. Laverde is still a 50/50 chance of playing, according to the club (I know, I know!) so it obviously isn’t going to be a long term issue, particularly with the ‘bye’ next week.

Snelling has been good but we have a few other options in this area.

Bring. In. Ambrose.

With Snelling out, there’s a man who can apply pressure.

Makes sense to bring Draper in, now that Nankervis is out.

There’s no better time to do it.

We’re going to cop the mother of all beltings aren’t we.

Hardwick will have them fired up I pray we don’t roll over

Hopefully Laverde gets up…I thought he would be a really good match up for Dusty when he goes forward.

We will be way too tall and immobile if Ambrose comes in whilst Waterman stays in.

Wouldn’t mind Cahill playing the Snelling role but would likely be Ham I’d assume.

Best case is we just miss Snelling. I would bring Ambrose to play the pressure forward. He also has fitness to have a run in the middle if we need to. No other changes. People say bring Draper for Phillips but Phillips had been playing well and he should dominate with Nankervis out.

Play both rucks would be the go…either Draper or Bryan
