So he plays one average game and gets dropped and Jones plays 30 average games in a row and stays in. How does that work?

We’re going in too tall. I’d drop Jones and bring in Davey as sub to bring some pace later in the game. At least it appears we are sticking with three smalls in the forward line (depending on who’s the sub).
I would have played Alwyn Davey instead of Harry jones up forward. To be honest I would have also brought in Zak Johnson for Prior to help with accurate disposal in the wet. Goldstein sure that makes sense and at a push I would take out Caddy and bring in Langford

Wet weather footy would be perfect for tsatas. Nah ■■■■ that.
Moore is a forced change, not weather related. And Cox is the backup when Membrey isn’t available.
It’s not a weather strategy.
Jones should be dropped.
McKay should be dropped.
Lang should be playing a game in the VFL.
Shiel has been good but isn’t long term.
I’d play Tsatas (Shiel), SEH (Jones), Hayes (McKay) and ADJ (Langford)
Would we be slightly worse? Probs. But who gives a Fark about shooting for our third consecutive 11th placed finish.

I’m a big fan of H Jones and want him to play well but I have to admit that I thought this week would be a good week to find form in the ressies. Langford would have been a good swap for Jones. SEH has copped the wrong end of the stick.

Davey needs to back up his performance in the vfl that’s what he needs to do.
We did give Davey a game in the seniors on the back of a good performance in the vfl before

Why didn’t they try something different for a change? Like bring in Hayes, put Mackay in the ruck, drop Jones for Langford and could have given SeH a full game? Even Tsatas for Gresham?
