Yes the very same Stewart. Forget the half arsed effort to rush a point, it’s his complete lack of defensive nous and holding frees he concedes which make him as solid as jelly.

We won’t drop Heppell and I doubt very much we drop Smith. I think Stuzz survives to play on Brown. Melbourne play 3 talls so think we bring in a 3rd fall defender.

Pretty self explanatory for the outs. Stewart is a back up key forward. Zerk is it until and if Reid is ready. I feel sorry for the guy. He’s not up to the role he’s doing. I’d swap him around with Francis but he hasn’t trained as a forward for two years and Frang can’t take on the main opposition forward. They’re depth players at the wrong ends of the ground. Enough. Should be clear now. Until Jones is ready Francis stays forward for structure. We lack key forward depth. Not unusual for any side. Tex in for Ham. Development year. May as well. Martin in for Smith. I’ve hoped against hope Smith can get something back from his former form but it’s not looking like it. He wasn’t one of the worst today but that’s probably enough for now. Development year. Sheil in for Cox because… just because.
