most of the defenders got a lot of the ball. due to the ball being down there a lot.
most of the forwards were not in the play so they get a pass.
doesnt help struggling midfield when we take Tsatas out of it and send him forward prepping him for AFl.
At least this week we will have Harley Reid bursting out of the centre clearances hitting up VOSSY lace out and big Stuzza.

If Baldwin plays as a defender then you need to drop Laverde. You can’t have two undersized key defenders. Happy to play Baldwin forward and trial now that he has strung a number of games together and is match fit.
I am happy to try Weid as a defender. We always have players who switch and become very good defenders.
Liam Jones was one for the scum and McGovern is doing that now. Jusin Leppitsch was another prime example from the past for Lions. Richards for Sydney. Moore for Collingwood.
Weid has had good numbers from the short stint at VFL. Also, in one AFL game he took like 3 or 4 marks in defence in like 5 minutes.
But zero impact, easy to rack up numbers when you lose by 100. He is a forward but the negative press on him having zero aggression are spot on, regardless of position. Fix that somehow and he could be very good. Doesnt lack size, just intent

If only we had a forward in the VFL which had some Mungrel about him, oh well.
Of their experienced heads, West Coast will be without Dom Sheed (hot spot in foot) and Hurn. In addition to Shuey and Barrass obviously.
Cox would be stiff to miss out
