Yes- it did not look good for Langers but i think it was T-Bell at fault !!!
Youâd send Hooker back this week if you supported him going back for good, which I do. Coaches, supporters and so called experts all have their footy âphilosophyâ and coaches will succeed or fail on it.
If I were coaching EFC Iâd send Hooker back and build from defence. Him and Hurls and maybe Ambrose/Dea/Brown depending on who we were playing. Saad and Conor would be off half back.
Daniher, Stewart and Stringer would be key/mid sized forward talls with Fanta and some class resting from midfield such as Smith/MCG/Dyson. Walla and Green would compete for a spot. I donât particularly rate Stringer and donât think heâs a midfielder. He doesnât like contact. He does have early pace and a great understanding of where the goals are.
Tippa OOF? You see the last quarter against Adelaide? Won the game for us.
Ross Lyon saw it too and he had a bloke who never was 5mm away from him. Monstered him.
Fanta back has our 3 smalls back and it harder to do that again.
He is on the bench Mr Sunbury.
Ready to come on after 5 when it is less âhotâ inside.
That should be Langford
He was probably so in awe watching Fyfe as he wants to be like him, that he just forgot to spoil or compete
Out: Sweaty palms
In: I want the ball more than any other fLIcker
It was one of the more fragmented, uncoordinated games weâve played, riddled with missed kicks and handballs from both sides. The pressure was very high 1st half, then the Dogs sorted themselves out and we didnât. When itâs coming at you from all sides, and the opposition is applying relentless pressure there are two options - either out-pressure and outrun, or retain possession until the momentum breaks.
He thought he was Fyfe
Myers in, Stringer out. Stringer would have to have the least attractive muscle tone at the Club. He will blow out after retirement. 140kg.
Funny thread is funny.

Iâd be pretty disappointed if Langford was dropped after one disappointing game but itâs a distinct possibility if Myers is fit.
Equally Dea is a chance to miss for McNeice. Meh. Dea is limited but he has a crack, not sure McNeice is any significant upgrade but heâs got more upside I guess.
We were too tall against Freo and we played dumb football, especially our forward 50 entries, bombing the ball long to am outnumber constantly.
Ouch!
Bulldogs donât enter the F50 very well, They bomb it high a lot, I can see a lot of dropped marks from Hurley and Hartley that result in goals, Iâm already twitching in anticipation.
Gleeson would be amazing to have for this game.
From Croweâs comments donât think Myers is ready.
Fantasia will come in & we will need another small defender IMO ⌠will really say a lot for where Bags is at if they take McNiece in coming off injury.
OUT: Begley & one of Brown/Dea
IN: Raz & one of Baguley/McNiece
Begley unlucky to a degree but Green outperforming, TIPPA has proven himself previously & should be freed up with Raz back.
Living in Melbourne you adjust to 10-17 degree changes in weather every few days, sometimes even within a day. It is no big deal. If itâs hot for us, itâs hot for Freo. Our temps have been in the high 20s or more for months now.
Some interesting stats on the Dogs drop off post GF.
Best to worst in comp in space of 24games in some of those.
in: Trent Mynott
Dogs worst in the comp right now and Tom $1M Boyd cant get a game in the seniors. Thereâs a problem there.
That. Would be remarkable from an 18 year old kid overlooked in the 2017 draft, and rookied at 11.
Stranger things ave happened.
Iâm worried about this game. Really worried. How many times do we seem to draw the âunderperforming team with their backs to the wallâ? It seems to happen every second week.
Theyâll be fired up and will 100% turn up this week. We will need to really be on our game to get over the line.
