He’s a great kick, except when he’s kicking for goal. Then he misses every time.

Tommy Hafey had it right. If a forward doesn’t kick goals then he’s not a forward. He may be something else, but he’s not a forward.

In Baldwin’s case he’s shown he’s a backman, and a pretty good one judging on his couple of games so far. But he is not a forward.
