Away VIGO to Fremantle
This has to be one of the earliest debut announcements.
Trying to get fans to forget the cats belting I guess.
VIGO IN !!!
Is that debutant number 11??
Pretty bl00dy tough initiation against the most athletic ruckman in the comp and another who mightn’t be as good a mover but who is built like a brick outhouse.
We have nothing to lose! Good in, keep giving the kids games. Go well big fella.
Freo looked pretty uninspiring v North.
Not saying we will win but hopefully we bounce back and put in a good effort this week.
Debut #12?
vigo and tsatas are a VFL combo deal,
so they’ll both come in this week
Would love to see a graph showing number of debutants vs year. We debuted 7 players in both 2021 and 2022 but aside from those years it seems we typically debut 2 or 3 players.
Just passed the halfway mark of the year and we’re up to 11 already. You’d reckon we might get to 12 or 13 by the end of the season.
I reckon we’ve found some talent. My debutant ratings below, but note that I’ve been away and watching games on an iPad so take these with a grain of salt:
Certainly can play:
- Kako
- Johnson
- Clarke
Probably can become a player:
- Hayes
- El-Hawli
Excited about these, but too early:
- May
- Edwards
- ADW
- Vig
No idea yet:
- Blakiston
Doubt he’ll make it:
- Lual
Hopefully Goldy’s playing to shoulder the load.
Anyone from Victoria going over for the game?
I am heading over Thursday morning and getting the red eye straight back after the game
Good effort!
It is a Thursday game so not that early.
Listening to our super coaches presser it looks like it will be just
In Vigo
Out gokdy
Haha……backing the boys to bounce back
We can bounce back and still lose by 8 goals
Me to.
Quietly confident for this game.
Cats was a “harsh but good lesson” according to coach, so expecting the learnings to tidy up the rough edges and we get it done.
Fremantle by 59.
Tracking beautifully for mine
