Can’t drop many from that win last night.
For me, the only two logical ones are as follows:
In: Merrett, McKenna
Out: Zaharakis, Hibberd

Agree completely with that.
Stringer though?
Head in the sand, he’ll be ok
What it should be;
In: Merrett, McKenna
Out: Zaharakis, Hibberd
What it will be;
In: Merrett, Belchambers
Out: Phillips, Hibberd
Agree with those and I’d also swap
Gleeson-Francis if he has recovered.
Can’t argue with that, though maybe Gleeson instead of Hibberd.
Thought Gleeson let himself down a few times but it probably changed the balance of the defence a bit unless Francis is coming back.
in - bellchambers
out - Phillips
it will happen, i am certain
Yep. And Zaka retains a spot too.
It won’t. Not even Essendon could be that dumb
Hibberd is completely unnecessary to this team.
Big bodied mid?
Protect the kids?
no changes for mine.
You’re probably right.
I’m loath to admit this but he did look a bit like Myers hulking around the middle a few times.
If Francis is fit he must play but I can’t see us making 3 changes to a winning side.
IN: Merrett, McKenna
OUT: Zaharakis, Gleeson
I’d like to see Hibberd have a run of games and see what he could potentially offer but it is likely he’ll be dropped
The Ben Brown matchup still worries me. Hooker and Hurley were both great last night, but neither has copped a decent opponent all year yet.
Merrett, McKenna and Francis need to come back in at some stage. Hooker and Hurley turned the clock back a little last night so BZT will have to wait.
OUT: Zaka, Hibberd
IN: Merrett, McKenna
I guess Francis has to wait too. I’m not keen on dropping Gleeson.
Yup. Hibberd to stay in if Stringer misses. I’d have Francis in ahead of Gleeson as well but back injuries are a tricky one and I doubt they’ll wanna make too many changes after that performance.
Maybe, but not at the expense of Gleeson.
Actually, I must say that I’m becoming a bit underwhelmed with Francis down back. He only seems to be “just” doing enough, rather than being a commanding defensive beast.
And no, I’m not saying Gleeson is that beast.
