He feels stuck there. Still we signed him a year so maybe they fee it worthwhile pumping some games into him.

I reckon Scott should give young Tex a go, if he doesn’t perform, even as a Sub, well he goes back to the magoos until the end of the season and most likely gets delisted. Still reckon he should give the kid a game this year, his form in the 2nd has been reasonable, not outstanding I gather. I would have for Ins/Outs against the saints :-

In: Tex Wanganeen
Out: anyone who had a ■■■■ game against the crows

I know people will probably laugh at this but I think we could manage Ben McKay this week.
St Kilda go with a smaller more mobile attack now that max king is out.
Ridley and laverde can take membrey and Owens.
While we will need an extra smaller type to take the likes of Higgins, butler.

My back 6 this week would be.
McGrath Laverde hind
Redman Ridley roberts

Could McKay play forward ? Family genes would suggest so.

Might as well try him. None of our other big dudes have any idea how to play the position.

I don’t mind them giving him more games so long as he is playing in the VFL until he shows brilliant form for a month or more.

I’m seriously over Kelly. Never seen anyone so indecisive with ball in hand. Just end up shouting……don’t give it to Kelly!!!

Fark I hate these weekends. Soul destroying loss, season over, and we don’t even have the VFL to hopefully see some green shoots. And Brad will use it as an excuse to make no changes next week.

Purgatory.

it’s that time of year again where to save me from more PTSD I start to not think too much about our games and focus on who I would like to win the flag instead . it’s an Essington coping mechanism that has stood the test of time , 20 plus years.
Brad summed it up perfectly . I’m not a “resultist” at this time of year. he started his crab walk end of year summary this week of " no doubt in my mind we are better side than last year…" bla bla bla .

so for me.
out, don’t care.
in, don’t care

play some kids , yeah that will do

I’m pretty jealous of how happy the young hawks players looked yesterday , there is a definate and irresistable buzz around them and the way they play . I hate saying this . so I’m off for a shower now

Cannot understand this perspective-it must make you feel better or something to let others know about your utter dejection.

It does actually. Knowing that there is a community of fans experiencing analogous emotions (albeit to varying degrees) is helpful.

It seems that there are only a few who won’t accept anything other than unabated adoration for the Regime like they are leaders in Pyongyang. Keep fighting the good fight comrade.

Sheil out, Hobbs in

Is it because they haven’t deserved senior selection or questioning Brads decision making which is it?

Either way if they were performing at a level that warranted senior selection up until now they would have put their best footy forward and be in the side.

Hobbs was playing midfield early last year and looked very good in games, he was a bull, he never took it both hands.

Durham and Caldwell did.

Setterfield has been injured but again he didn’t take his chance when recalled few weeks ago.
