Changes v Weagles

Surely Tsatas gets back to play VFL Saturday night

For all we know Tsatas may be still favouring his hand on the track, doesn’t tackle much as is so that’s only going to further impact

I’m fine with him returning after the layoff and surgery via VFL, especially when the midfield performed well.

Setterfield (10 tackles) and Shiel (coaches votes) are deserving of retaining their spot. And Hobbs was good also, stays in.

Unfortunate he broke his hand but just get on with it. Dominate in 2’s and push them back out Elijah

Better than him playing as a sub, and El-Hawli playing as likely sub for now gives us flexibility given can play many spots on the ground and his pace late is beneficial

I’m glad 2MP was named ahead of Goldstein. I think he can fit into a forward line without Langford there. And can help be backup ruck for Draper.
I knew it was going to be tough to bring in Tsatas for Setterfield. Setterfield got an opportunity and took it. Now it’s up to him to hold on to it and force Tsatas to work harder for his spot back in the team.
At least SEH is still in the team. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the sub again. It’s either him or Hobbs, and it makes sense to have a winger as sub for fresh legs than a small forward (albeit one that works further up the field than other small forwards).

Goldstein, Tsatas and Day-Wicks are the emergencies.
Pretty much the same emergencies as last week, only with Goldstein as a ruck option.

Nothing too crazy with the choices.

Happy with the one change

Tsatas needs one more 50-possession game in the VFL for his development.

Agree

I wouldn’t want to be Brad having to decide between dropping Shiel and bringing in Tsatas…i can understand why he’s kept him in. This is the reality of competition for places. Tsatas unlucky with injury but now he has to fight harder to get back in the side. I don’t mind this.

Does anyone else find it weird that its a 6.10pm game? Which means its a 4.10pm game in Perth?

Normally Perth games are 6.10pm AWST which is 8.10pm in Melb…

Yeah they are using the public holiday to cater to the regular vic Friday night time slot…

Any blitzers game enough to go tomorrow? Let me know and we can possibly meet for a beer at the venu or camfield.:+1:

I think it’s a Foxtel thing.
They prefer games to be back to back when channel seven aren’t broadcasting games.
So tomorrow is being scheduled like a typical Sunday when the late game begins just after 6pm.
If the game was on 7, it’ll be in the later time slot and the Carlton v North game would begin just before 5pm on Foxtel to run straight into the next game.

Perkins blessed again.

Did alright last week

Flying up tomorrow morning for pregame BEVS at the VIC, then flying back in the afternoon to watch the game on TV.

@Stallion is flying!

I’m usually one of the first to sink the boots in to Brad for his team selection but I can’t fault him this week, logical decision.

Heard that line before

Tsatas is so done with the efc
