Guelfi, Gresham, Caldwell will all take time to find their way back to best form. You gotta give returning players at least 4 games

Exactly. It’s fully expected they aren’t going to be at their best in first few games back. They also likely mentally a bit more cautious.
Caldwell was vastly improved game 2

Guelfi & Gresh will be better for the run. Guelfi did a good job shutting down Vlaustin that said, intercept marks wise. Gresh definitely needs to lift.

OMac is not currently playing for Brisbane. They are running with Darcy Fort. If he is missing again next week, it feels like a great opportunity to give big VIGO a run before an MSD pick comes in and cuts his lunch. Goldy can have a rest for a short break.

Not much to choose from unfortunately. Don’t think there are any key-position players left?
Praying Reid is ok. And it was just precautionary we sat him out.
With that in mind it’s really only Langford to worry about.
With him out do we:
- Play Wright permanent fwd & bring in Vigo as fwd/ruck to help out Goldy
- Play Perkins in Langfords role and bring in another rotation midfielder, ie. Hobbs / Tsatas / Parish if he gets enough minutes in VFL in.
I’d say we are more likely to go the latter scenario
Gresham would have to be in gun also, think they’d persist and hope for 2nd game back improvement. Lacked zip though, adductor issues can be pesky
Sub choice may well differ this week also. Hopefully SEH gets back in the frame

Bit depends on tonight but I reckon they will think about Menzie for Langford. About the only forward option we have left.
No obvious replacement for Reid so maybe Shiel or Parish. Johnson a chance.
