You can still get a GA ticket. Iâm guessing theyâre still selling to a total GA allocation that accounts for the expected scan in.
My prediction. Reserved seats sellout. Standing room is available and they cease selling GA tickets before the game for fear of a lockout / rush of GA walkups at match time tomorrow, resulting in ugly seens and disgruntled fans. . On the day, the GA member scan ins donât get to the predicted number and we see 500-1,000 empty seats around the back half of top deck.
It looks an interesting scenario.
Unfortunately we dont doit so well with loses to hawks & crows. And another â â â â house anzac day showing. We also allowed eagles & roos into games whereby we should have belted them
What we do well is when we play direct footy, we kick goals & are a different team.

Every home game weâve had that has gone to standing room ends up with the top deck behind the goals being half empty.
The club or whoever it is completely over estimates how many members turn up and scan in.

Anyone know how to pass afl members tickets to someone else for marvel games? Mcg games you can screenshot the qr code but the marvel ones seem to have that stupid moving red bar across it.
Yeah, I picked my young fella up from school and he asked if we can go to the game tomorrow.
I said yes, not even thinking it would be an issue getting tickets.
I just had a look, and canât find any seats together.
The problem is that when we play direct footy, we tend to turn it over even more than when playing uncontested footy. Then we go on the defensive, dont take risks and the oppo start to take territory and get repeat entries. Well against Norf thats the way I saw it.

i think with Caddy and Wright in good form going direct could cause problems for swans defenders. plus Kako zipping about. or actually just hitting up leads. with better disposals last kick inside 50.

Clearly the club / stadium need to estimate the unknown factor, how many GA members will show up and scan in⌠Itâs guesswork. Obviously theyâre wanting to also avoid ugly scenes of hundreds / thousands of fans being locked out too. Itâs a balance. In the end they try and manage the risk by putting out messages like âarrive earlyâ etc. theyâre probably slightly conservative however and thatâs why thereâs a shortfall and lots of empty seats on level 3 as a resultâŚ
