If we play like we did in the first half last week, we will win.

Does make me wonder if the lack of atmosphere will have an impact.

For us or them?
If the crowd is quiet, it works in our favour because Geelong aren’t playing the game the way they prefer.
If it’s close those, the crowd will be involved, can make umpiring decisions a bit more tricky and can lift the Geelong team to give that little bit more.

That would be quite a trick considering Voss hasn’t even been named as an emergency. A worse idea would be trying to rough up Hawkins, he would simply monster anyone who tries it. This isn’t the 1990s, that sort of approach doesn’t work anymore, it hasn’t worked for years. Apart from that big Tom, appears to be a fairly unflappable type anyway.

Miers is the one we have to sit and keep quiet. He cuts teams up with his delivery deep into the F50, he is very damaging with the ball in hand. I will be interested in who picks him up.

I went off the team list posted in this thread. If he is an emergency it could change things, not that l will hold my breath, waiting.

I may have missed it but when has anyone at Essendon complained at playing there on Saturday? Scott had no issue with it when I watched his press conference?

I’m not expecting him to be in, but he is named as an emergency (about post 442).

Maybe we should provided their women instructions so they didn’t go from 1st on the ladder, to 8th and no finals, in the last four rounds of the year…

Seriously bizarre article too: headline is 1993, they won a game versus us and were destined to win the premiership… and then they didn’t even make finals. I think their point is they have to lose this game to finish top of the ladder and be premiers?
