So Smack stays safe.
McNurnan could very well flourish with another genuine tall to share the workload in front of goals.
Cahill hit the score board but it only had 7 touch 9 pressure acts and zero tackles. Heās had a taste, he has shown heās not completely out of place, I would not be upset if he made way.
Out: tbell lav gleeson Cahill ham
In: Phillips Street zerk Cutler Shiel
Francis Hurley zerk
Saad Connor Ridley
Cutler Merrett Langford
Phillips McGrath Shiel
Smith tippa Snelling
Towner smack Stewart
Redman Hibberd parish Zaha
Cutler could just as easily but play and then you retain ham or Cahill. Would like to see moz at some point in the next 4 weeks
Maybe heās having his Covid indiscretion held over him?
in - Stewart, Shiel, BZT
out - Gleeson, Laverde, Ham
Mckenna Hurley Francis
Saad BZT Ridley
McGrath Parish Zaharakis
Langford Stewart Snelling
Tippa McKernan Townsend
Belly, Shiel, Merrett
Smith, Redman, Cahill, Hibberd
Out; Hibberd, Laverde, Ham, Gleeson
In; Shiel, Cutler, Draper, BZT
Stewart aināt a contested marking forward, Draper would offer more in that role whilst also giving T-Bell a spell in the ruck and keeping him fresh on short breaks. What Saints are doing with Rowan/Ryder is winning them games, we should be following suit. Donāt know why people are calling for Cahill to be dropped when weāre crying out for goals and he boots 2 in his second game. If he goes out its for Mosquito only. We. Need. Goal. Scorers.
Couldnāt be any worse than some of our other āMagiciansā whoāve forgotten their tricks.
No changes for mine ⦠play on one leg lav
Why are so many people dropping a defender and replacing him with a forward?
Not going to happen
BZT isnt a forward
what? am i missing something?
Ha⦠oops⦠I missed BZT.
There are others who are dropping Gleeson though and not bringing in a defender
If we were to debut Draper and Belly rested Iād bring in Philips too.
Draper could play 50-60% game time (all in ruck), Philips to play forward (would only be 50% of game obviously) and also bring in Stewart. Philips is a decent target and more mobile as a forward than belly or draper (at this stage).
Yes itās 3 talls but draper would be on bench nearly half of the game
Out: Lav, Redman (Gleeson), Hibberd (Zaka), Ham
In: Stewart, BZT, Sheil, Mozzie
Stewart > Lav, just makes sense.
You can toss up Redman & Gleeson but i thought Redman had more errors at costly times and his 2 way running was poor. BZT to help with the Lions taller forward line.
Hibberd is unlucky and he provided a lot of tackling pressure around the contest, but Sheil must come in for a mid. maybe rest Zaka.
Ham is purely a rest out for Mozzie who can provide more pressure on the Lions backs.
Iād go Mozzie before Cutler, right now.
More than anything we lack creativity and polish - which Mozzie brings, and Cutler doesnāt really.
Wouldnāt mind seeing Phillips get a gig at FF and resting McKernan for a round.
Moves well for a big man and doesnāt mind putting on the pump when the ball hits the deck.
5 score involvements - again. Leads all EFC players. Has done enough, IMHO.
Out: Ham, Lav.
In: Cutler,Shiel.
Hopefully Cutler plays out of his skin against his old side.
Hams inability to win a one on one, and a few poor fumbles/decisions is why he needs a spell.
Tall? He is 195 cm which is a small defender these days.
On the money !
