Scott said either Draper plays AFL this week or he won’t play at all.
Said he won’t be playing VFL.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Eagles structure up in terms of their talls.
Right now in their squad they have:
Their two rucks (Flynn, Bailey Williams)
Three key/power forwards (Allen, Waterman, Darling)
Plus Ryan Maric who is a 196cm forward who plays a bit more like a medium.
Tsatas is already out.
There needs to be 3 more out

BDB already ruled that out in his media conference. Quote was “he plays afl or he doesn’t play”

I tell you what - and I never (ie before this year) thought I’d say this - but that team looks miles better with Duursma in it.

I don’t think Caddy will play.
I don’t think so (unless injured).
We are short mid rotations, and Hobbs/Tsatas not named. I’d say Setterfield is playing.

Skills such as kicking, handballing and marking are almost innate skills (and fundamental) in AFL. You either have it or you don’t. And you should be recognised as having it when in the case of a top 10 player.
I’m not sure just going back to the VFL and sorting it out will just happen.

There is 0% chance - literally 0 - that Caddy plays (unless someone is out injured).
Putting to one side that he is below Brad’s age cut off, we are already too tall on paper.
Agree with all of that. I just don’t want to see him in the seniors whilst it’s that bad.

So other guys have to play VFL when coming back from injury or due to poor form but Draper doesn’t?
Feel so bad for Tsatas, his development and confidence must of taken an absolute battering this year

He returned without VFL practice in round 2 and was reasonably effective until tactically dubbed out.
Yes it does and he is a very important link up player who provides two way running and very good defensive side aswell which we have lacked
Hope so, just saying we were mighty confident of a 100 point party last year, didnt happen. I too think we a far better side but is what it is, we have priors.
Sticking with that same forwardline again
