Changes vs Eagles (Marvel)

Interestingly, Scott covered this in his presser. Said they reviewed the shots that were being missed and most were in good positions where we would be expected to convert.

He said they’ve now gone back to working through the mental preparation aspect, set shot routines etc

I would rather drop Goldy.
and have Wright/Draper ruck/fwd 50/50

Plus they are missing Ried and Kelly both very important midfielders to their team

Essendon has named its side to face West Coast on Sunday afternoon.

Sam Draper will be among three inclusions for the Bombers this week, with the ruck ready to go for his first game since Anzac Day after a successful recovery from knee surgery last month.

Winger Xavier Duursma also returns to action for a first AFL appearance since his untimely quad tear back in May, while defender Mason Redman reclaims his place in the line-up after recovering from his hamstring strain over the aptly timed bye week.

The Dons’ structural shift means midfield pair Will Setterfield and Elijah Tsatas make way this weekend, while forward Jade Gresham will miss the clash with the Eagles due to personal reasons.

Essendon take on West Coast at Marvel Stadium from 1pm AEST on Sunday.

Out two (and a half if you count Gresham) midfielders. In none. Makes sense.
