Changes vs GC 2025

Watch the Tsatas be the carryover and get no game time

It’s a gift from Scott. We can complain about Tsatas being excluded and included from the emergency list in one thread.

There has to be more to Elijah’s story going on behind the scenes.

We’ve historically been happy to carry players with obvious deficiencies (defensive running, kicking, speed) but Brad Scott’s management of a kid he was meant to have picked himself is baffling. This is especially true in a development year where the coach is under little pressure to win.

His trade value right now would be a 3rd round at best I reckon. I feel for the kid.

Interesting that Shiel has been named in the VFL side, so you’d think he hasn’t succumbed to injury or illness to force this change. Which makes it pretty intriguing to know what instigated it.

It is strange. If it were a ducks and drakes thing and Elijah was always going to play (which often happens, just not with Tsatas…) you’d just name him in the 25 rather than outside and elevate him twice. I wonder who’s not right.

Maybe Shiel’s put his hand up and said give Tsatas the go and I’ll stick with the VFL.
If he’s in, he’s like the sub. Shiel probably not keen on that.

Either:

  • shiel is under an injury could
  • shiel ■■■■■■ off bs, unlikely
  • an inside mid in the ones is under an injury cloud

Can’t wait for this game - we have a kids birthday party to go to so we need to leave at half time. We have gone to almost every game this year in Melbourne and left at half time each time. Night games are too late for kids or we are getting totally ■■■■■■ over by the cats etc. Either way same result. Looking forward to trying to get some tickets to GMHBA when we play the cats again - not for the footy so much as having dinner somewhere different.

Essendon fans watching them play.

It’s probably Durham soft tissue let’s face it

Or Durham sore ankle. Ankle sore.

When was it we lost 5 in a row? I don’t give us any chance tomorrow, even at marvel, at a strange time of 12:45pm. So, looking forwards to loss 5 in a row, the only “maybe” wins from the last 9-10 games, richmond, saints and FC, rest all losses.

Hopefully.

I see Richmond have Lalor back this week, so he’ll have a run under his belt before we face them.

And Jayden Short and Josh Gibcus are back playing VFL this week so must be some sort of chance too. Certainly Short.

Taj Hotton who looks a gun, is playing his third match this week so provided he gets through he might debut against us. Hopefully they fire a shot and deny us any more frivolous 4 points just yet.

  • @willie_■■■■ literally willing the kid into the team himself

How can you hope Richmond beat us.

Fark losing to them hope we beat the flogs

Taking my kids to this one. They’ve been hassling me and this is the best start time for little kids for the remainder of the year. Even managing to get onto the ground during the warm up.

While I know a loss is better for us long run, it’s hard to resist that sweet sweet sugar of a win when you’ve taken the kids along. I actually think there is a small risk we get it down. GC are so flaky.

Vigo most be be too sore playing VFL

I laugh at those saying it’s a development year it s only turned into that because of injuries .

Goldstein needs more development at 37

The fraud continues

Have the TAB released the odds yet for which quarter tomorrow Ridley will be subbed off with another injury?

I reckon the second quarter.
