No. Blaki’s too valuable as a dual-purpose player who works his arse off.
Out: Edwards, Ridley
In: Johnson and Nguyen
Bet they bring in prior though.
Might be a few sore boys aftee that game in draining conditions. Pies with the few extra days of recovery is annoying
Not today he wasn’t.
It’s time to put a big dog up these arseholes. I reckon we can do it. This could be a great week.
Your living in the past, Nguyen is a forward
Incoming YouTube clip…
More than annoying , its a huge advantage. Our boys will be sore and knackered early week whilst pies up and about, and fresh by weeks end. Hope Im wrong, but worry is able to run game out. Time will tell.
That’s true - but at least we’re coming in with a run of decent form against a good team.
The Pies vs Fark Carlton game was horrendous.
“Dosen’t get any better then that champion”
Pretty sure Edward’s mum confirmed he was fine on Facebook.
Looks like he’ll be good to play.
Tempted out Gresham in Nguyen but forward line has kicked 17 goals two weeks in a row - why mess with it?
Nah, Bryan was bog ordinary against the Suns second ruck choice today. He’s still a way off.
Oh really ? Next you’ll be telling me that Langford’s a defender.
If Brad Debuts Gerryn, do we still storm?
Anzac Day debut ![]()
Why?
Bryan really worries me, he doesn’t take any marks around the ground and is a one dimensional ruckman.
He got beaten today & really showed no reason to warrant consideration for selection.
They won’t be near bottom 4, but they do look bang average, with very little good youth coming through. Media craps on how they will be fine because players want to go there but I’m not so sure about that. Most players aren’t moving for just cash these days and if they don’t see much of future I don’t see how they attract the A grade free agents or trade targets.
If pies got Bobby hill back that would help a little.
He won’t play AFL, surely. He’d be miles off it and McGrath owned him for most of last years clash.
Essendon, move heaven and earth and beat ■■■■■■■ Collingwood. I want Pies supporters streaming out of the MCG at three quarter time into the hands of VICPOL.
Four players could be considered for next week - Sharp, Prior, Nyugen & Johnson - but, the bigger question is who could/would they replace?
Ridley is a possibility to be rested, although Reid wasn’t this week and he got through, seemingly, unscathed.
El Hawli went off looking sore & Edwards had a HIA, but neither have been confirmed as out or unlikely to my knowledge.
It is amazing to think we have 4 players we would be delighted to play next week, but may not have room for them.
