Since the majority of our players should be well-rested from playing sweetfa against the crows, I’m looking forward to Thursday. We play in a cosy stadium, which is an added plus. I’m hopeful

Agree with this. Cricket selectors do it all the time by persisting with out of form guys rather than giving them a chance to find form at the lower level.
Every training report in here had McKay either not there at all recovering from surgery, or doing basic jogging or handball drills in the modified list. That’s not a preseason, that’s designed to lead into a fitness program and introduction for a few rounds in the VFL before going up to the afl. It’s like they feel he has to play to amortise his yearly cost. Just play Hayes for a while and let McKay find his feet.

Would love to know ports average winning margin against us at marvel. Feels like they belt us by 50+ every time. They might break some records this week

There needs to be hard questions asked of Brad at the next presser. Why persist with Jones on a wing when he gets 7-10 possessions, can’t chase, has low footy IQ, and is too slow for that position. It’s complete madness. Surely Saad is a much better wingman already

My grandmother is a better wingman than Jones, she is 94 and has one arm

Saad has been average on the wing in the VFL, Lual being better.
Clarke was outstanding yesterday in the backline.
An alternative would be
Jones forward where we need more height (or the Big G)
Roberts wing
Clarke back flank.
It does seem weird to consider playing them in their actual positions though.

Caddy has shown a bit more that Reid in his 12 games I reckon.
Can she kick? Don’t expect she is that quick though, but maybe quicker than a few we have running around.

The crowd numbers will tell the club what we think.
The same blokes let us down every week but are undroppable, Shiel, McGrath, Perkins, Jones, McKay so what is the use of suggesting changes? Scott refuses to make changes because he is bull headed. The only change that will happen will be Ridley in for someone. Who ever the someone is, who knows?
