If Langford was fit he would be replacing May or playing a different position. I prefer May in the team over Mcmahon.

Itās a good opportunity for some kids to get senior footy experience and not get blown away.

Iām keen to get a look at anyone thats on the list that has a 6 month contract ie Mcmahan and Smaart, and Iād have one last look at Davey.
Perkins needs some time at the lower level.

8 players with less than 25 games suggests otherwise. A third of the team quite literally did not have the required endurance levels.

Not sure McMahon could have impressed more than he has? May is a brute of a kid but felt McMahon was a bit stiff not to get a gig over him initially.
Mate we had the week off and lost 4 players to soft tissue injuries!!!

Well he obviously could have kicked even more goals. If he keeps up this form he will get a go eventually but playing 4 tall forwards isnāt usually a good idea.
Iād consider giving Pete a rest this week to get a look at McMahon. May can play back up ruck.
Caddy, May, McMahon could be an interesting mix.
I just think we should get McMahon in to see if he can lead Essendonās AFL goal kicking by seasons end.

I wouldnt be opposed to letting him dominate at VFL for the remainder of the year like whats the hurry thats he needs to play?
He then has a big pre season and gets a spot rnd 1 next year.

I agree resting 2MP makes us worse but who cares? The end to this year should all be about finding out what we have on the list.

Yes injuries played a part but itās happening.
