When the wheels come off they complety come off for us and we dont recover.
Same as Carlton the past 25 years. They looked god awful in the first half of last season.

Was thinking this exact same thing.
A club thats been deplorable for 20 yearsā new coach comes out and says we need to start playing with an edge and the whole media world has not stopped using that phrase.

Curious on Parish, Ridley and McGrath more than others, hoping full training thus available. Fanx
curious if Stringer was also participating in training ? I bumped into him at the local cafe this morning and he had a bandage around his knee, was walking fine so most likely pre-caution

Stringer was gesturing to the bench late in the 4th, holding/pointing to his quad?
He kicked a goal after that so I ignored it post game.
we have a couple of players
Walsh - Merrett
Weitiering - Ridley
Cripps - no real star - hopefully Perkins
Curnow - no real star hopefully Caddy.
Cripps and Curnow are the types of players can build a team around. still taken them a while.

well, you aint gonna get Ridley - heās injured. Same with Parish. Guelfi is injured as well. Shiel? Who knows. I would rather Jones over Weiderman.

I donāt mind Sainters mentioning this, it shows they are distracted and maybe shifting their focus off implementing their own game plan. Even if only a little, it shows we are getting into their heads.

This is why it was a stupid thing for Brad to say. Every team will now be prepared for it.
It also means Essendon will now have to lift in order to meet the preparations of those other teams. For too long the team has sat back and been way too passive and reactionary.
