Clakko, making it all about himself…
Yep Clakko has really taken the competition hostage.
Damning actions, who the fark did he think he was, to treat these boys like they were his cattle, to be treated any way he liked, as long as those actions got them ready for the market … a pig of a man if true, which it likely is
He’s a hot head ….and my view of him has changed …he king hit players behind play and as I found out recently he allegedly abused (quite severely) a waiter at a well known cafe on Hampton street he previously frequented
So just a dead set kant
Most of the points the lawyer made hit the mark. Her central point being that no-one (media, AFL, clubs) seem the least bit concerned about the on-going impact on the alleged victims. Even to the point where some are blaming them for what is unfolding now.
Only heard the beginning of the Gowers interview. Sounded suspiciously like a series of motherhood statements. Didn’t hear it all so he may still have directly addressed some of issues.
mmmm… so can’t be “excused” as being due to the heat and pressures of competition.
It’s pretty naive, what does he think the indigenous aggrieved parties will do. If they don’t gain remedy through any AFL process - eg if shut down as Jeff called for, they will seek remedy elsewhere.
The world does not revolve around Clarkson.
Unless Clarko apologies and admits he did wrong this matter won’t go away. I know Leon Zwier and he is one of the best litigation lawyers in Australia. He’s representing some of the indigenous families. He will put enough pressure on to get an outcome favourable/acceptable to his clients. Leon is not someone you take on
We go live to Clarkson for a response:
“Not quite my colour”
Jeeeeezus!
Great movie and preformance
Are the families keen to take action? I thought I heard reports that they were not going ahead because of lack of faith in the system?
MSM giving air time to a handful of former champs and assistant coaches who have only had positive experiences under Clarkson.
Hardwick purports to speak for all in the AFL industry in wanting Clarkson back.
Media do not follow up on the Jordan Lewis hearsay account of what happened at the servo.
If Clarkson is innocent then surely finishing the investigation and clearing his name would be the best way for Clarkson to recover?
There is no way he can clear his name and there is no way they can prove he did anything. It’s going to end in a complete ■■■■ storm.
They’re a few represented by Judy Courtin ( interviewed on ABC Melbourne radio this morning) who haven’t been prepared to participate in the current AFL inquiry.
That doesn’t rule out action by them in other processes, including judicial. Courtin is calling for an inquiry into Hawthorn.
They don’t have faith in the AFL’s enquiry\mediation system. They may have more faith in the court system, but that will probably involve a lot of stress going ever the (alleged) incidents and being cross-examined.
He allegedly had a disagreement with hospitality staff at a cafe on Hampton St and bravely stepped away from frequenting the venue in response. The inconvenience of frequenting a different cafe has had a significant toll on Clarkson. He’s put up a brave public face to date, but those closest can see the internal trauma it’s causing him.
Back in October it was reported that Work Safe Victoria had launched an investigation into claims of alleged discrimination at Hawthorn.
WorkCover premiums have recently been hiked for employers because of the rise in mental health work issues.
