a large coffee is by default a double shot. A regular is single.
Australian coffee though in general is strong. We use a lot more coffee beans per shot than the Italians. Instead we copied our espresso basket size from the Americans.
I have several good roasting g places nearby , but besides price I can’t go past these beans for consistency and the flavour is spot on for my taste. even visitors , I don’t tell them what it is and I always get compliments on what coffee are you using
I’m not really a fan of espresso coffee. I prefer filter or plunger (French Press). I usually only drink one cup a day, and it’s Monte Palato (Colombia) roasted at Balwyn Coffee Centre, formerly the Oasis Coffee Centre. I like it strong, black and unsweetened. I don’t always get it exactly right, but when I do it’s deliciously rich and satisfying.
